New currency? Mind control? This lunatic is out of his freaking MIND... just another Columbine-style nutcase whose deranged internet ramblings confirm his psychosis...how many "right-wingers" include the "Communist Manifesto" among THEIR favorite books?
http://abcnews.go.com/Blotter/jared-lee-loughner-gabriel-giffords-suspected-shoo...
"In the YouTube profile, the account holder, identified as Loughner, lists "The Communist Manifesto" and "Mein Kampf" among his favorite books."
A viewing of his Youtube videos shows this psycho to be an apolitical LUNATIC:

This nutcase's videos include one of him burning the AMERICAN flag...he was essentially a Columbine-style psychotic timebomb waiting to explode.
Targeted Congresswomen Giffords is a MODERATE "Blue Dog" Democrat:
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Blue_Dog_Coalition#Membership
"Some Democrats, such as Congresswoman Gabrielle Giffords of Arizona, are members of both the Blue Dog Coalition and the New Democratic Coalition."
Americans of ALL political persuasions are hoping & praying for Gabby's FULL & SPEEDY RECOVERY.

This is the most pathetic attempt at explaining his youtube videos I have seen. It is barely better than those "omg he is tea party" or "omg he is a liberal, look at his reading list" comments. He also put Peter Pan as a favorite book. By the Communist manifesto means liberal theory, he must be divinely inspired by Mickey Mouse to kill people. But that would be stupid to think wouldn't it?
This man is focused on the manipulation of symbols for the manipulation of people through the use of grammar and structure to change meanings and control us through the control of our symbols to control our beliefs and values and religion... in other words, to control us through symbolic manipulation.
He is closest ideologically to the Ron Paul crowd but that is not to say he is a Ron Paul guy. His frustration is with the system, its politicians, and its media that manipulate symbols to control us; as well as frustrated with us for not trying to see through their manipulations. He wants us to take control.
If you read it... this act was not a "terrorist" act to create fear, but rather an act to draw attention to his cause... He views himself as a martyr to wake us up, not a terrorist to create fear.
In his mind, we are all controlled by The Matrix for lack of a better illustration.

ONE CRAZED WOMBAT ! -
["[My] hope — is for you to be literate!" the text in the video said. "If you're literate in English grammar, then you comprehend English grammar. The majority of people, who reside in District-8, are illiterate — hilarious. I don't control your English grammar structure, but you control your English grammar structure."
In his profile on YouTube, he said that he's an avid reader and included in a long list of favorite books "Animal Farm," "Brave New World," "The Communist Manifesto," and "Mein Kampf."
His profile said he has attended Pima Community College. One of the videos rambled for several paragraphs, suggesting that Loughner had once been removed from campus for "talking."
He wrote of creating a new system of currency and designing coins. "You're distributing your new currency lethally to people or you're distributing your new currency non-lethally to people," the video reads. In another video he wrote: "No! I won't pay debt with a currency that's not backed by gold and silver!"
Loughner expressed a deep interest in the dystopia that made up the plots of his favorite books.]
