Even Lost Wars Make Corporations Rich
Power does not rest with the electorate. It does not reside with either of the two major political parties. It is not represented by the press. It is not arbitrated by a judiciary that protects us from predators. Power rests with corporations. And corporations gain very lucrative profits from war, even wars we have no chance of winning. All polite appeals to the formal systems of power will not end the wars in Iraq and Afghanistan. We must physically obstruct the war machine or accept a role as its accomplice.

      EXECUTIVE RESUME
      CHAOS = OPPORTUNITY = $$$$$

Greed & Fear Unlimited rules under the guise of Mindfuck Inc.

How about a campaign against the five curses of humanity : WAR, POVERTY, ENVIRONMENTAL DESTRUCTION, IGNORANCE & DISEASE. Now that would yield better results for each & everyone of us but the industrial-military-complex, Now wouldn’t that be something !

"We must repudiate the structure of economic privilege and the tyranny of war makers" - George McGovern 1975

"Curtailment of free speech is rationalized on grounds that a more compelling American tradition forbids criticism of the government when the nation is at war...Nothing can be more destructive of our fundamental democratic traditions than the vicious effort to silence dissenters." - Martin Luther King, Jr.

The Doctrine of Blatancy works something like this: First identify our (USA’s corporations) area of benefit (where can we maximize our power and wealth?) Next look for locals who will collaborate with us to help achieve our ends. Of course there are always scraps from the table to be thrown to them. And most dogs are satisfied with that.

So what else is new ?

Want to hear something interesting ? Have been watching & recording
a lot of 1-2 hour long episodes from the History & History International
channels lately. Ever since I saw Mad Science, which was a brief bio on
the inventions of Nicola Tesla both before and after he worked for Thomas
Edison, I became a steady fan. Anyway, of all the UFOlogist broadcast,
these guys beat the SyFy channel for investigating these mysteries. All
in all, the History channel's material is perhaps the most exotic of all that
I've readily seen. Anyway, on the recent episodes, they were exploring
how the Egyptian civilization built the pyramids to become factories to
produce hydrogen for power usage. And the obelisks constructed in
various points on the globe were theorized to be crystallized Tesla Coils
made to beam electrical energy to different points on the planet without
the extensive use of wires. Tesla's successfuly proved in his experiments
with electricity that both the atmosphere & the Earth itself could become
efficient conductors of electricity. They also theorized that the 100-200
ton granite blocks used to construct temples near the Sphinx, which are
impossible to move even with amassing 21st century fossil fuel driven
machines, may have been levitated and moved into place by superconductors.
Naturaly they believe E.T.s were behind all that. And that a pair of E.T./ hybrid
humans became one of the Pharohs & his Queen because they both had
radicaly different cranial & facial features than the pharohs that came before
      and after.

      ZEITGEIST 3: MOVING FORWARD
      --------JANUARY 15-----------
WILL BE RELEASED IN JUST SIX DAYS!!!

SYNOPSIS: Zeitgeist: Moving Forward, by director Peter Joseph, is a feature length documentary work which will present a case for a needed transition out of the current socioeconomic monetary paradigm which governs the entire world society. This subject matter will transcend the issues of cultural relativism and traditional ideology and move to relate the core, empirical "life ground" attributes of human and social survival, extrapolating those immutable natural laws into a new sustainable social paradigm called a "Resource-Based Economy".

    • It Reminds me of a Joke About Fascism...

      ----------------------------------------------------------------------

Mussolini is sitting at the dinner table with his family.

His little son (not even sure if he had one, but this is joke, anyway) asks him -

      Daddy, what is fascism?

Mussolini answers - Sit quietly and eat.

      2011: A Brave New Dystopia
      http://www.truthdig.com/report/item/2011_a_brave_new_dystopia_20101227/

''Orwell warned of a world where books were banned. Huxley warned of a world where no one wanted to read books. Orwell warned of a state of permanent war and fear. Huxley warned of a culture diverted by mindless pleasure. Orwell warned of a state where every conversation and thought was monitored and dissent was brutally punished. Huxley warned of a state where a population, preoccupied by trivia and gossip, no longer cared about truth or information. Orwell saw us frightened into submission. Huxley saw us seduced into submission. But Huxley, we are discovering, was merely the prelude to Orwell. Huxley understood the process by which we would be complicit in our own enslavement. Orwell understood the enslavement. Now that the corporate coup is over, we stand naked and defenseless.''

We have been gradually disempowered by a corporate state that, as Huxley foresaw, seduced and manipulated us through sensual gratification, cheap mass-produced goods, boundless credit, political theater and amusement. While we were entertained, the regulations that once kept predatory corporate power in check were dismantled, the laws that once protected us were rewritten and we were impoverished. Now that credit is drying up, good jobs for the working class are gone forever and mass-produced goods are unaffordable, we find ourselves transported from “Brave New World” to “1984.” The state, crippled by massive deficits, endless war and corporate malfeasance, is sliding toward bankruptcy. It is time for Big Brother to take over from Huxley’s feelies, the orgy-porgy and the centrifugal bumble-puppy. We are moving from a society where we are skillfully manipulated by lies and illusions to one where we are overtly controlled.

ARE WE BACK TO WHERE WE NEVER LEFT paying through the nose for our induce complacency about the empire, 9-11 & 'We The People' absolute lack of any political power ? ARE WE TERRORIZED ENOUGH ?

"A society whose citizens refuse to see and investigate the facts, who refuse to believe that their government and their media will routinely lie to them and fabricate a reality contrary to verifiable facts, is a society that chooses and deserves the Police State Dictatorship it's going to get." -- Ian Williams Goddard

"Political language is designed to make lies sound truthful and murder respectable, and to give an appearance of solidity to pure wind" - George Orwell

"The essence of oligarchical rule is not father-to-son inheritance, but the persistence of a certain world-view and a certain way of life ... A ruling group is a ruling group so long as it can nominate its successors... Who wields power is not important, provided that the hierarchical structure remains always the same." - George Orwell, 1984

To tell deliberate lies while genuinely believing in them, to forget any fact that has become inconvenient, and then, when it becomes necessary again, to draw it back from oblivion for just so long as it is needed, to deny the existence of objective reality and all the while to take account of the reality which one denies - all this is indispensably necessary.": George Orwell in the book 1984

"If liberty means anything at all, it means the right to tell people what they do not want to hear." -George Orwell

With Barbara Bachmann landing a post on the 'Intelligence Committee' can we agree that... Ignorance is the downfall of all cultures and we are about to hit bottom ;) http://politics.newsvine.com/_news/2011/01/06/5777426-rep-bachmann-lands-post-on...

If I wasn't such an optimist (thank you Soma ;) it would almost be understandable for all of us to follow Diogenes example, strip down & run around town screaming... ALL IS LOST, ABANDON SHIP, WOMEN & CHILDREN FIRST !!!

Meanwhile one must admit Gonzo wasn't too much off mark ;)

      First on his own trade...
''Journalism is not a profession or a trade. It is a cheap catch-all for fuckoffs and misfits - a false doorway to the backside of life, a filthy piss-ridden little hole nailed off by the building inspector, but just deep enough for a wino to curl up from the sidewalk and masturbate like a chimp in a zoo-cage." ~ Hunter Thompson, Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas

Then on the US of A...
''We have become a monster in the eyes of the whole world – a nation of bullies and bastards who would rather kill than live peacefully. We are not just whores for power and oil, but killer whores with hate and fear in our hearts. We are human scum, and that is how history will judge us… No redeeming social value. Just whores. Get out of our way, or we’ll kill you.'' – Hunter S. Thompson

So yeah, watching a sad, sick puppy being used, abused & oh sooo confused by its master is not my idea of having fun nor is the fact that trying to educate someone who doesn't want to learn. It is all but frustrating & annoying at best....

So yes indeed... LIFE'S GOOD, SHUT UP !

"The doorstep to the temple of wisdom is a knowledge of our own IGNORANCE" : Benjamin Franklin

"...the concentration of power and the subjection of individuals will increase amongst democratic nations ... in the same proportion as their IGNORANCE." Alexis de Tocqueville, Democracy in America

"The trouble with most folks isn't so much their IGNORANCE, as knowing so many things that ain't so." : Josh Billings - [Henry Wheeler Shaw] (1818-1885) American humorist and lecturer

"This instrument can teach, it can illuminate; yes, and it can even inspire. But it can do so only to the extent that humans are determined to use it to those ends. Otherwise it is merely wires and lights in a box. There is a great and perhaps decisive battle to be fought against IGNORANCE, intolerance and indifference." -- Edward R. Murrow, 1958

America will always be filled with half-clever hucksters who look for ways to live the fat life off the IGNORANCE and loneliness of country rubes. – Matt Taibbi

"It does not matter if the war is not real, or when it is, victory is not possible. The war is not meant to be won, it is meant to be continuous, the essential act of modern warfare is the destruction of the produce of human labor. A hierarchal society is only possible on the basis of poverty and IGNORANCE. The war is waged by the ruling group against its subjects, and its object is not victory, but to keep the very structure of society in tact." - George Orwell, from 1984

    • THE SOFT RESTRAINTS OF IGNORANCE
Propaganda, the suppression of the truth, particularly in democratic societies, Huxley argued, would bring upon an age of human enslavement, where instead of yokes and chains, people in celebrated "free" societies like America would be bound by the soft restraints of ignorance, incuriousness, distraction and irrationality. - Kelley B.
