The 2012 Ford Focus Electric car was simultaneously launched at CES in Las Vegas and at an exclusive media event in NYC on Friday, January 7th. While Chevrolet and Nissan chose to develop new platforms for the Volt and Leaf, Ford is using their global Focus platform for efficiencies of scale and mass appeal.
