TechCrunch gives an update on an app which tries to predict future delays on flights to help customers get a head start on booking different flights. According to the post, they use weather reports and air traffic to make predictions.

The startup behind the app has now been brought by Next Jump "a large company that powers reward programs for 90,000 companies, including MasterCard’s MarketPlace. That seems like a strange fit given FlightCaster’s original mission, but things make a bit more sense when you look at what FlightCaster has been up to in the last year."-tech Crunch.

From the article sounds like the app is expanding with ideas on how to save travellers on costs too and making the app free.
