Who owns Facebook? Clue: you probably won't like all of them

 

Recently tech news focussed on the money Goldman Sachs (and their clients) had invested in Facebook, but who else owns a wedge of the extremely rich pie?

Facebook staff hold the majority, followed by Mark Zuckerberg, some other co-founders and the guy Justin Timberlake played in the film.

But wait, who's that other famous name we see hidden in the list of investors? With a 1.5% share, amounting to around $750 million in case, Bono is getting even richer of the back of all of us social networking.

If ever we needed another reason to deactivate our Facebook profiles...

    • I'm sure Bono's stake in facebook is not for profit, and all the money he makes from his investments goes towards "helping" the poor and famine him and his business/banker friends help create in the first place.
