Apple's diabolical plan to screw your iPhone

According to Boing Boing, in a world of increasing hacks to new technology the industry is reacting but at the cost of users DIY repairs.

iFixit contacted the BB authors on Apples move to using tamper resistant screws for iphone and some laptops. iFixit is a free manual on how to repairs mobiles, computers and electronics.

iFixit says there are not easily available screwdrivers to use on the Pentalobe screws, meaning repair tools that do exist will be costly. With any in store repairs resulting in old screws being replaced with new Pentalobe ones. However, boing boing shows the manual company is tracking and planning to sell the correct screwdrivers.
