This is a News Story about a new platform of protest. Similar to the civil rights marches and anti-war marches & protests of the past ~ people in the streets voicing their support of a worthy and valiant cause. A combined humanistic call to action to temporarily block traffic... To let the world know..... that they should pay attention to what is going on...

Today... nothing is changed The same ideals the same objections the same people trying to do something good! The same solidarity... The same look in their eyes... The sound of people marching... shouting to let the world know that they should pay attention to what is going on...! The only difference is the in 2011 is.... the people marching are on the "Cyber Streets" these are just as meaningful and just as valid as the Marches of people of the past... These are the marches and the protests of today 2011 Virtual Marches of tens of thousands of people blocking "Cyber Traffic" protesting against Fascism and Oppression... Anywhere it exists...

The word today is... Join the March!!! This is the future.... This is Our Future...

Our Future in NOW.... Not Tomorrow...

    • The Costs of Fighting Fascism.... are minor compared with the Oppression, torture and violations of human rights that would continue if nothing was done...

      As some choose "to do nothing" and, to reprimand and criticize those that do... Those that do nothing but criticize show us... that they are comfortable with Fascism, comfortable with Oppression, and comfortable with the ongoing violations of human rights. Their actions show all of us they support the existing status quo.

      Thankfully today we now see more and more of us who are willing to stand up !

      I salute all of us who choose to stand up and, do the bold thing ~ the correct thing!

      We have one chance to make this world right again.... Before us... we have the tools ... And... using those tools... We have the power... To make a statement, to make social change and, to voice our solidarity! ~

      The time has come for: Marching down the Boulevards and, Marching on the Cyber-Streets!
      "WE NEED TO MAKE OUR VOICES HEARD GLOBALLY!" . We need to stand up to corruption... and not ignore it!

      Anonymous as do I, believe this right to peacefully protest is one of the fundamental pillars of any democracy and should not be restricted in any way.

      This is our choice.... And, this is our voice...

      As a people, we all have to look in the mirror and ask ourselves " Is doing nothing part of the problem?

      And if that answer is YES... Then, making the personal commitment and, personal choice to be "a solution to that problem". A choice to use your voice... and, the power before you.... To exercise that right... To stand up to corruption... and say NO... that isn't Okay! and... not to ignore it!
      What we see happening today.... is "FREE SPEECH" ~ The peaceful right to protest... weather it be Marching down the Boulevards or, Marching down the Cyber-Streets with DDoS protests.... targeted against the ones who threaten our Democracy.... OUR ACTS...ARE ALL PEACEFUL PROTEST Directed at The forces of Corruption, The forces of Oppression and The forces of fascism.

      This is our choice.... And, this is our voice... so let it be heard clearly and, loudly!

    • There are reports that the Egyptian Government is currently blocking the sites of Facebook, Twitter and a streaming video site from it's own people's access...

      The Question is:

      Who would perform the actual blocking of these sites?
      (1) Would the source of the blocking be located from within the government in Egypt.

      or,

      (2) Would it be from outside hired contractors like Websense or, __________?

      or,

      (3) Would the blocking be from the Egyptian Government's biggest supporter and ally; the US Government & US DoD?

      Go to 4chan.org, and in the 18+ section, click on random, also known as /b/.

      You'll get a pretty good sense of who Anonymous is. And I won't blame you if you have no desire to be affiliated with anything they do.

      Alternatively, you can preserve your gleeful innocence and just ignore this whole thing.

      You won't find anything at 4chan except childporn, 13 year olds, and trolls. If you want to learn about anonymous, their tactics, and how to connect to them then your best bet is probably encyclopedia dramatica.

      Oh I'm sorry, I forgot to include 7chan, 420chan, 99chan, anonib, Something Awful, the other shootoff boards and the various IRC channels.

      Who do you think you're fooling? It shocks me the extent to which people think they can lie about anonymous, as if their activities weren't blatantly obvious public knowledge.

      It doesn't matter where they come from, they're generally the same brand of person. Total asswipes. Especially the hackers, who are the only people that matter in anonymous raids and "protests."

      The pleasant people that show up to their protests often have nothing to do with the real anonymous people, they just think Guy Fawkes masks are cool.

      Anonymous posts on /b/, but posting on /b/ does not make you anonymous. Sure, 4chan used to be one of the headquarters, but that is certainly not the case anymore. If you want a chan that will give you an accurate picture of the real anonymous then head over to 7chan, if you have the patience to put up with their slow servers.

      That's a gross oversimplification. They have staged protests against censorship, religious violence, and child porn, and have done some amazing things, such as when the private IRC boards were set up in Iran to give Iranian citizens a voice to the outside world that is separate from the strict government press control. Those aren't the actions of a bunch of internet toughguys and kiddie porn posters. The anonymous you are describing is just a bunch of nobodies jumping on the chan train because they heard about it from some friends and they think it's liek ttly cool. The chans and the IRC channels are just a vehicle; don't mistake the parts for the whole.

      i'll give you the fears for your freedom of speech and press and so on... but those fears are always around. 1860's the confederacy felt threatened, Mcarthy hearings, Patriot act.

      Americans and the constitution are strong enough to survive fear so relax yourself.

      but looking at your message to the people of Tunisia, if this post is for other countries... yay you guys, fight all that shit wherever you can... but maybe the website for the expanded cable channel that's shown in North America isn't a prime platform for your message.

      My friend, the world is much smaller than you think... First,don't believe everything you see on main stream TV here in the states... Sometime you need to reach beyond the low hanging fruit

      It is nice to look around and say everything in this country is just fine and Americans and the constitution are strong enough to survive... you are dreaming...

      AMERICA Today....

      As we all now all look around us... we see much more homeless on the streets much more suicides more desperate people... things were much different for so many people ... before the money & wealth was sucked out of our country.

      Just look at all the hard working American families all being foreclosed on and forced out into the streets as the "Corporate Royalty continue to award themselves Billions as; A Job Well done! And this year 1.3 million more families are scheduled for foreclosures and pushed on to the streets in 2011!

      Look around us today, The right the Left the middle the Tea Parties the Gays the Birthers the NRA the so many groups waving the flag... shouting and shooting fighting between themselves for what I ask? For the basic fundamental things in life... like having enough money to buy (safe) food to eat), healthcare, a warm place to live to sleep at night... affordable education for our Children.... these are the basics things in life!
      If we are fighting battles amongst ourselves.....Blinded with all this nonsense, innuendo distractions... fueled by over caffeinated snake-oil salesmen on Fox & Talk radio preaching hate ~ But, It's not just Fox, But all Corporate Media, ABC, NBC, CBS, MSNBC, CNBC, CNN do it too... They do in their own way... It is all tailored to fit the demographic Audiences....

      So, If you haven't already noticed.... Look around you.... It is easy to divide and control our population... as it is being done right now.... After ~ you filter the content and control the money & airwaves. You then... have the power to control peoples attitudes, their viewpoints and, their topics of conversation.

      Targeted Demographic Viewer Audiences:

      In the United States, our News today in not "News Driven" as it was in the past... But, today our News is "Market Driven" looked at as " Content & as Programming".

      Today, Full News stories are edited out and "News Fluff" is inserted or, News stories are removed altogether and arent even reported. News Anchors today (in the USA) are not reporting facts as was done in the past but, An "pre-opinionated spin" presented as fact.

      Today the news in the United States is designed for each targeted demographic viewer audience that each Network represents. . ABC, NBC, CBS, MSNBC, CNBC, CNN, & FOX NEWS all have different targeted demographic viewer audiences.

      What should be a wake-up call to all of us in the United States: Is when the people outside of our US borders know more about what happening inside our country than it's own citizens do... We should all realize that we have a very big problem in our News and Broadcast Media!

      The problem is...
      "Market Driven" techniques don't report the news.... Market Driven" techniques create "viewer drama" amongst the targeted demographic viewer audiences... No wonder people are angry and pointing fingers at each other. Today, we are so busy caught up in our perceived drama[s] that we don't see the really big picture...

      And the big picture is.... that we are all only fighting for the crumbs left... after the 98% of our countries wealth has been sucked out of every Americans pockets stolen and hoarded by the Ultra Wealthiest 2-3%.

      I guess that is the plan.... if we are so busy arguing with ourselves we are not looking up and seeing what is really going on... When you are distracted... It is easy to have your pockets picked!

      Maybe it time we all look up ~ And time we... all follow the Money!

      Today We Do Again need someone like Martin Luther King Jr. To wake people up and again to vote their feet. To get people standing up again... and out in the streets Marching Against Oppression and Against Corruption.. To support of the all the people of the United States and " not just the Ultra Wealthiest 2-3% at the very top!"
