Well, Christians in general seem to be far more obnoxious than all the religions when it comes to things like sex and culture, but I think it's just because they are more dominant.

Personally I just think it's funny more than anything, however I can't get over the whiff of double standards here, if only for a Westerner's comparative of religions of Judaism and Islam in particular.

Westerners are allowed and even encouraged to point out that Islam is oppressive towards its practitioners, but they are not allowed to acknowledge the same oppressiveness with regards to Judiasm.

what you miss, and there fore think a double standard exists, is the element of pacivity.all religions, especialy the monothiestic abrahamic ones, are repressive in nature.they all show this in the functions of thier congregants.where opposition exists in regards to thier idealogy is where they insist upon all observing it.we dont care when the saudis beat thier woman, we still get in our cars and feed them the money that creates the power they abuse.cuz when push comes to shove that is them, not us so we neednt be concerned.the world has the most horific attrocities happening everyday, and most are related to religion at some level, yet we are confortable ignoring them, as it is them not us.
