Who: Chase Reason is a person that views music as a source of expression rather than simply putting words over a beat. “Chase: If it’s not from the inside then it’s not real music...” Growing up in a number of high risk neighborhoods in Toronto, He is no stranger to the reality of the streets, and the vicious toll they can take if one chooses to be consumed by that beast. Chase is usually involved in a song from the conception of the beat all the way to the final mixing and mastering Process. “Chase: This improves the quality of the music…” At many times, Chase will simply come up with a song in his head, without any sort of pre-production. “Chase: I don’t know where it comes from, it just happens, and I can hear the instrumental and everything at once…”
