Heroic for sure - and I just watched "K-19: The Widow Maker" this weekend - a Harrison Ford / Liam Neeson flick that portrays a Russian nuclear submarine crew faced with a reactor meltdown that threatened to destroy the sub and detonate the warheads it was carrying. It centered around the sailors who sacrificed themselves to save the vessel, and potentially the world from a nuclear war. Check it out for some dramatic insight.

You don't have to look far to find out the current situation in Japan.
It's on every single news site.I liked the article because it shows something good in a crisis that is so bad.

Yeah I know how time works.
Doesn't change the fact that these workers stayed behind, even if they are there no longer. It is NOT brand new but I still appreciated it, thought others would too.

Thanks for doing the work of staying on top of things--it's appreciated. However long the workers stayed or will stay inside, the outcome for them can't be good (despite hints from some Fox folks). For what they've done, I honor them.

Some people manage to "not suck" for the rest of us; raises the average honour, and value of the entire species.
