We absolutely need to question this new technology. Until mainstream science (especially assholes like Craig Venter) understands the true holographic nature of DNA and the contextual purpose of the misnamed 97% junk DNA, genetic technologies should be brought to a halt. We are trying to applies these technologies with out even being close to understand the true functionality and purpose of our genome. We just understand the sequence of letters of our genome but have yet to put them into any contextual relationship. In other words, we simply know the order of the letters in the "genetic book", but to adequately understand what they are studying they need to step back and understand the role of the words, sentences, paragraphs, and chapter of the book .... it is the contextual multiple weaving or braiding of DNA that will show it purpose. So bottomline, their understanding of genetics is so infantile, that the full effects of any application on a genetic level of this technology is unethical, irresponsible, and just down right wrong. We are still little children in our technological development and it is our duty to make sure that collective awareness continues to rise at the same rate so that technology can be used to benefit mankind instead harm it through its lack of understanding. They have a long, long way to go.

Mindblowing!
He's right, we do need to ask ourselves if some of those "things" they've created (especially towards the end of the video) are ethical. Where is the governing body that oversees these Frankenstein creations? Who is paying for this?
