Since I am into technology I am also a big fan of storymaker, I have paid high compliments to the programmers.
I just ran across this article where other techies appreciate it.

While I think Sotrymaker is great, it could use some tweaking. I'm hoping Will Wright does an improved version 2.0 for the next season.

He did mention they are considering making it open source.
So if they do make it open source, or make it free for non-profits, then I can definitely set it up on a server for us to use.
