Daphne Wysham is a Fellow at the Institute for Policy Studies and founder and host of Earthbeat, now airing on 61 public radio stations in the US and Canada.
Kuniko Tanioka is a Japanese politician of the Democratic Party of Japan, a member of the House of Councillors in the Diet (national legislature). A native of Osaka Prefecture, she graduated from the University of Toronto in Ontario, Canada and received a Ph.D in design. She was elected to the House of Councillors for the first time in 2007.

The Japanese have a hard time with the truth, historically. They deny the Rape of Nanking, Bataan Death March, Bio-Warfare Death Camps in Manchuria...to name a few, so this is not surprising. And yes, these examples are ancient history, but are given to merely illustrate a point.
