In commemoration of Apple’s 10th retail store anniversary, the company has launched its Retail 2.0 last Sunday. The whole overhaul added stationary iPads placed next to other Apple products. The devices display product prices, information and features. The iPads can also be used to compare models and ask for help from a specialist.
The touchscreen tablets appear to be running on a custom software, since touching its home button does nothing. The new in-house iPads were set to be rolled out with Apple’s proprietary retail software — RetailMe.
