Try this..If you turn off or unplug everything in your house. Then Plug in a hair dryer..turn it on..then go outside and look at the meter ..it'll be spinning twice as fast as if you had all the lights on including the fridge. A 70 watt light bulb burns 11 cents aday....A 100 watt light burns 24 cents aday....A hair dryer / Coffee pot burn almost 50 cents everytime they are in use....Crazy huh!!
