Homeland Security Deploys Mind Reading Hardware

The US Department of Homeland Security has begun field testing new technology which it thinks can identify people who intend to commit a terrorist act, just by looking at them.

According to the magazine Nature, which we get for the spot the Schroedinger's cat competition, the US spooks have been conducting tests of Future Attribute Screening Technology (FAST) in the past few months at an undisclosed location in the northeast of the US.

The gear apparently uses uses remote sensors to measure physiological properties, such as heart rate and eye movement.

It has been in development since 2008 and it apparently can tell your intent to cause harm.

It is all based on a form of witchdoctor psychology called behavioural science. These boffins have the cunning theory that someone with malintent may act strangely, show mannerisms out of the norm, or experience extreme physiological reactions based on the extent, time, and consequences of the event.

Homeland Security's FAST technology design so that coppers can basically arrest anyone who looks them funny. So no change there then.

The DHS claimed the machine was accurate 70 percent of the time the other 30 percent will probably get out of Guantanamo Bay in a couple of years.

However some boffins think the gear will give shedloads of false positives.

Tom Ormerod, a psychologist in the Investigative Expertise Unit at Lancaster University, told Nature that even having an iris scan or fingerprint read at immigration isenough to raise the heart rate of most legitimate travellers.

In short, coming into Los Angeles Airport would turn Mother Theresa into a screaming psychopath, it does not mean that you are going to act on your impulses.

The next step on this path, is if the person does not admit to what the government says he or she is thinking; they can legally torture you to confess what the government has already determined to be true. It's already legal to torture suspected terrorists - now with this phony technology - even if you have done nothing but they 'know' what you're thinking they can torture you until you confess. Remind you of anything? Salem Witch Hunt - you know this was the practice of many churches (not that long ago) where they'd torture those they 'knew' to be witches until those 'witches' confessed. The path in front of us is dark and terror filled, may the Holy Spirit rain down upon us and remove the cloth from our eyes and restore reason and truth to this nation.

    • The problem with this is that it has no more validity as equating
to the truth than the infamous " lie detectors ". The ancient
galvanic skin reponse, and even the more recent heat signiture
sensors (focusing around the small circular area of the brow, the
eyes, and nasal area) only measure the phsiological effects of
the emotions of fear, and nervousness. The whopping lie of all this
derives in the giant leap of faith falsely presumed in the fallacious
premis: " If you're innocent you shouldn't be afraid, after all the
innocent have never been presumed guilty until proven innocent ",
" The innocent have never been framed, railroaded, wrongly
convicted, and sentenced to prison " NOOOOOOOOOOOOOO.
" To believe that they have would be the Big Lie, wouldn't it "

Being nervous is an involuntary nervous system reaction to being
targeted for anything. It's preliminary to the flight or fight reactions
keyed by the hormon cortin or adrenaline. These hormones are
produced by an area of the human kidney, but there are also add
phisiological triggers for fear feelings. To presume that all are
inherently guilty until proven innocent. And that only this device
can clear them is a whopping con. It assumes that since people
can keep their emotions secret, that DHS has a right to invade
the last bastion of privacy to detect guilt. It's bvious this is an end
run around the 4th Amendment, as profiling has proven to be,
The NAZI FBI & NAZI DHS want to wipe their asses with our American
Heritage, and criminaly destroy our Liberty by subversion . Isn't
it obvious that when Boener can waltz through the Total Recall
type obscene scanners that invade the right to privacy at airports
that we're being conned ? Boener has no more rights thanyou do.

I'm versed in Psychology & Law. it's obvious that Hitle rBush, the
CIA & FBI's brainchild, the Dept. of Homeland Security wanted
desperately be able to to frame anyone they targeted as an alleged
" terrorist " .( We'll hang em after they get a " fair " trial) In order to
get a conviction in court, though they'd have to establish a fact
constituting a crime, AND mens rea, latin for evil intent. Those evil
clowns disregarded that Historicly, the SCOTUS has always upheld
that it's a power reserved to eachState to define what constitutes
a crime within it's boundaries on any level, and that each State
has a Criminal Procedure Code established to precisely define
that culpability. Constitutionaly lawful Statutes prohibit the kind of
Anti Constitutionaly vague wording which the Patriot Act, Homegrown
Terrorism Act were notoriously, infamously created for.

Bottom line is that it's up to the States of America, and not to the
CIA/FBI dominated United Snakes, to determine what is legaly
admissible as evidence in ANY Court within a State. In many
States, the questionable validity of evidence derived from
hypnosis, lie detectors, and this Nazi horse hockey too would
have to be excluded from any criminal proceeding in ANY Court
inside State boundaries, just as evidence derived from Felony
Eavesdropping would have to be excluded as the " fruit of the
poison tree doctrine " Any type of " mind reading " whether it's
done by the amazing Kreskin, the mentalist, who is a legitimate
psychic...Or the DHS new frankenstein device cannot be cross
examined, and recross examined by attorneys in the traditional
adversarial relationship.Hence it cannot be admitted as evidence.

Hence it can't be used to prove mens rea (guilty intent ). In order
to commit any crime, a suspect would have to have mens reas &
mens actus SIMULTANEOUSLY to be rightfuly convicted. No suspect
is likely to have proven culpability under any State's CPLs by means
of this fraudulence. This DHS con is tantamount to an assault on
the 5th Amendment because it seeks to deprive a person of due
process of law also. No person's thoughts can be used against them
in a Court of law, any more than a person can be made to testify
against themselves, with or without torture. Long live American Liberty.
Death is too merciful for public enemies hell bent on their destruction
of the American way of life, no matter who they work for. The real
terrorists we need be concerned with are payrolled by your taxes.
