Dual-Armed Robot Plays Snooker Just Like Humans

Thomas Nierhoff is doing masters at Technische Universität München (TUM), created a robot that is capable of playing pool just like humans do. The human sized robot use dual 7-DOF arms to move the cue stick all around. There is a camera above the table to track the ball positions. This robot's accuracy rate for easier shots is about 80 percent.
