In 1961 former president John F. Kennedy gave a speech which included the phrase
"ask not what your country can do for you."
but honestly shouldn't it be? "Ask not what can my country do for me nor what can I do for my country but what can country and countrymen alike do for one another in order to achieve the over all good." c.v.f
