There’s only one problem: that’s completely wrong. In reality the study shows nothing of the sort. The evidence, as far as the limitations of the experiment go (that’s important, see below), do not show any effect of cosmic rays on global warming, and say nothing at all about the effect humans are having on the environment.

And that, the number one source of warming gasses, comes from the production of livestock. Over 51% has been publicly reported and proven to come from animal agriculture. And right now, where we're at, in the progression of the global warming crisis, the only way to thwart it quickly enough to save our lives, is to adopt a vegetarian diet, preferably a vegan diet. And let's face it! We've lost far too many lives already, as a result of all the side effects of global warming to begin with. Excuse me for saying so, but a population of humans that would choose a stupid peice of meat, over our only home, being habitibal and peaceful for us, is so foolish, that they deserve to become extinct. And thats exactly what a species does, when they live beyond their habitat. They drive themselves to extinction. And thats exactly what a species does when they eat meat, because our habitat, just, cannot sustain us, with a meat diet. And THAT, my friends, is what happened to the dinosaurs, and THATS, why all the herbivores out-lasted the carnivores. All for the sake of MEAT! So STUPID!!!

Blaming cow farts? Long before homo sapiens' ancestors walked upright, there was an abundance of fauna that trekked upon this earth that did not seem to harm Mother Earth one iota!
Millions of buffalo here on this hemisphere...millions upon millions on theplains and savannas of Africa....millions upon millions of caribou or reindeer in the northern regions of this planet were occupying the tundra regions.
Not until Man tried to tame hature did the balance of life tip away from the natural towards the unnatural occurances we see today.
Do not be fooled into believing animals are to blame for the calamitous events we live in today.
One belching city bus will put forth a stench of foulness into the air more than a herd of bison, goats or sheep.
Fairy Tales are for the gullible and the young.
Of which I do not belong to either group.

Well i don't know about then, neither do any of us really. But now, there are 8 times the amount of animals being grown for meat consumption, then there are humans on the planet. That is billions of them, and thats not counting the wild animals either. And i'm not talking about cow farts alone, im talking about huge lagoons with millions of tons of untreated waste, which is polluting the air, the water, the earth. Go live next to one if you don't think it's that serious. Furthermore, it doesn't only hurt animals when we consume meat, it hurts the people that work there, the people that live near by, as well as people who could live instead of starving to death, if they used the land to harvest food for starving people, instead of cutting down the forests for livestock and their feed. You know what? I need to go meditate! If you cant make sacrifices, as simple as a diet change, for the sake of the only home we have, and the lives that inabit it, don't dare tell me you care about climate change, the planet, the beings, or yourself for that matter. I left the link. If you give a rats ass check it out. I have no patience left for splitting hairs with people who can't see logic when its right under ther noses. However.... i DO hope you survive all this, and pray that you would see the real truth before its too late. God bless you, and i truly mean that. =)

Might the increase in Volcanic activity be having an impact as well. I am not saying we don't need a new approach to the way we do everything. We consider ourselves separate and/or above these systems we exist in and continue to try to control everything. We are not, and can not sustain life hear if we don't wake up to realize that through understanding and right action we can provide for all and love our home back to more than her original beauty.
We are fed lies and global warming is just another misdirection in a long line of such. Many things are contributing to these changes, some we can affect and some we must be aware of and prepared for, but it is a group effort and anyone pointing a finger in only one direction is wrong.

The Mayan calendar is not a doomsday prediction. It is the end of a cycle and the beginning of another. The calendar is actually more of a blueprint of the stages of conscious awareness. We are now in the 9th wave or the "Universal Underworld" meaning we are just waking to conscious awareness of how we fit into a Universe we barely understand.

Well, that would be GREAT, if either you or me were Mayans!
My little satirically sarcastic prose was made in jest.
I DID place a "LMAO" tacked at the end of my post.
This Planet, the Moon, the Solar system, Galaxy, Quadrant of this Universe AND Universe ain't goin' nowheres pronto.
But as far as Mankind..all bets are off...since we have an uncontrollable urge to destroy ourselves there's NO ONE who will stand in OUR way.
The day may come when the Last of Man falls to the earth, is found by worms, eaten, digested and passed as "castings" through the rear orifice of those same worms!
Poetic justice will have been served at last!
Mankind will eventually be reduced to worm turds.
As the cycle of life continues on. For other species to reign supreme on this Earth!

They aren't called Mayans. I read a book on the subject. It' considerd a "Lost Civilization".
Why do you think they STILL can not fully translate the ancient language?

when i see the comments that people like you n ur friend post, its no wonder our planet is where it is today. if you're bored there are useful things to do. If you ACTUALLY knew ANYTHING,you'd know global warming was real. Obviously you are the type, with one of those attitudes to be very passive and unaccountable. You are lazy, and thats why you refuse to beleive that human activity has anything to do with whats going on, this way your hands are free from ANY work or responsibility. Obviously the people who have made sacrifices in their lives without reguard to what they might have to give up, are the ones who truly seek the real answers. Get your head outta the gutter man, men rather. Its time to take action here. Its all a big joke till the shit hits the fan. Speaking of shit, the greatest source of greenhouse gasses, come from the excrement of animals from the meat and dairy industries. These gasses can be between 25-4500 times more warming than C-02 and they leave the atmosphere much more quickly than C02. C02 can take 100's-1000's of years to leave the atmosphere. So, if we want to see any changes within the next 100 years, we need to stop eating meat, optimally dairy too. Don't be that idiot in the movie who gets killed. No offense, just lookin out. chow =) p.s. are you one of those people that works for murdochs' media or somethin like that? just goin around trying to make havoc and chaos? it sorta seems like it.

Well i'm sorry to have to be the one to inform you, that the fact of the matter is, seeing as the greatest source of global warming and harm to the planet is caused straight from the habit of eating meat, not to mention the impact it has on the planet in reguards to, pollution of water, air, and earth, also how it wastes the earths resources between 10-25 times, more so, than being a vegan or vegetarian. It has been calculated by the ipcc that a vegan generally cuts their ecological footprint by 90% OR MORE.... If you are not a vegetarian/vegan im sorry to tell you that you aren't that serious about going green, or saving the planet, or perhaps you have been misinformed. Our diet, is extremely important when it comes to our relationship to the planet. Perhaps you have been concerned about the climate change for a long time and thats great, i don't mean to offend anyone, but going vegan/vegetarian is vital to saving our planet from this climate crisis. here is link to check out in case my words have fallen deaf. it is, http://earthsave.org/globalwarming.htm
the way i see it, we're all together in this and divided we fall, so its up to us, what we truly want. - 9 months ago
