Dead Island Sexist Content " Hot Coffee "

Remember the ‘Hot Coffee’ incident in GTA: San Andreas? You know, the one with all the sex, and the outcry, and the mothers smothering their children as if the end of the world was nigh? Well, it’s happened again, just on a slightly smaller scale, within Techland’s recent release, Dead Island.
Purna, one of the game’s protagonists, has a skill which can be unlocked that is titled ‘Gender Wars’. No harm there, right? Unfortunately though, someone digging around in the PC version of the game’s code has discovered the original title for the skill, and that’s where the fun begins. Entitled ‘Feminist Whore’, the skill offers Purna a 15% attack bonus against male enemies.
The outcome of this discovery is an apology from Techland, promises of an investigation into the matter, and basically, a whole load of free marketing for Dead Island, over what, at the end of the day, isn’t really a huge deal. I’m sure I’ve heard worse in games before, and I know I definitely have in both books and movies.
