Indeed, the AP also reported on a leaked version of a new IPCC report on this subject with the headline, “More weather disasters ahead, climate experts report; Some locations will become ‘increasingly marginal as places to live’.” Here are some key excerpts:
Freakish weather disasters — from the sudden October snowstorm in the Northeast U.S. to the record floods in Thailand — are striking more often. And global warming is likely to spawn more similar weather extremes at a huge cost, says a draft summary of an international climate report obtained by The Associated Press.
The final draft of the report from a panel of the world’s top climate scientists paints a wild future for a world already weary of weather catastrophes costing billions of dollars.
The report says costs will rise and perhaps some locations will become “increasingly marginal as places to live.”
The report from the Nobel Prize-winning Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change will be issued in a few weeks, after a meeting in Uganda.
It says there is at least a 2-in-3 probability that climate extremes have already worsened because of man-made greenhouse gases.
Other studies makes stronger statements (see “Bombshell: Study Finds 80% Chance Russia’s 2010 July Heat Record Would Not Have Occurred Without Climate Warming” and “Bombshell: Study Finds 80% Chance Russia’s 2010 July Heat Record Would Not Have Occurred Without Climate Warming“).

So there have never been floods, droughts and early snow ever, before the invention of global warming promotion and fearmongering?

How can anyone argue that the climate isn't changing. We just need to look around and see what is happening.

When one sees trees, some still with green leaves, covered with 6 inches of more of snow in October, this is seriously abnormal.

Global warming/cooling climate is not a man creation but Nature eternal cooling/warming cycles, so the globalits are looking for excuses to tax people and business to death, a carbon tax, what a joke! another scam!

You forget that man is a part of nature and has been affecting the climate by cutting down forests to plant crops and raise livestock and build ships and cities for thousands of years.
You really need to read Plows, Plagues & Petroleum: How Humans Took Control of Climate, by William Ruddiman (Princeton 2005).
You can see the impact humanity has made on the atmosphere over the past 8,000 years from the paleoclimatological record.
We certainly have prevented another ice age..... - 7 months ago

I hate to be the one to point this out to you but not everything is about money. This is about the survival of the human species on planet earth. If preventing or slowing the pace of environmental destruction means we pay more in taxes, then so be it. Or to put it more succinctly- "your money or your life". Choose.

Those whose only view of climate change comes from how the mainstream media covers what politicians are saying about it might have that impression. That is why you should be listening to the scientists. It is a fact that nearly all climate scientists say that climate change is man-made. It is rather ridiculous in my mind for one to be concerned about taxes on businesses when there are much graver consequences of global warming. Just because you don't like the idea of taxing businesses, you cannot simply deny the fact that scientists are saying climate change is being caused by man. You should always be on the lookout for scams, but you should be more vigilant because you have been scammed by the very businesses you defend to actually believe that climate change is a scam.
You can't just make up your own science. What you are stating is NOT what the scientists are saying. Sorry but it would be ridiculous for anyone to think you know more than the actual scientists. You are incorrect.

what scientists are you talking about?? the ones who have been caught cheating with data?? there are hundreds of others scientists who disagree with the current data regarding global warming/man made. Do your research. What are you going to do with volcanoes// do you know they are the top 'pollutions problem' for this planet?? they have 'pollutining this planet for milions of years with CO2' !! Combined the volcanoes generate more CO2 than all the man made pollution. CO2 is not the problem..blame in the sun and cosmic rays!

Oh only 97%-98% of scientists who are actively studying climate science. I know that is insignificant compared to the power of the dark side (ignorance), but you asked which scientists, so my answer is just about all of them. Thank you very much for asking.
You may proudly proclaim that 2-3% of climate scientists back your position, but I'm going to have to place my bets with the other 97%.

Since the last ice age ended some 10,000 years ago the climate has remained relatively stable at around 300ppm carbon dioxide (+/- 50ppm).
Atmospheric carbon has not reached 390ppm (where we are today) for millions of years.
