I asked them a long time ago to start building sandbars. They need to sandbar/concrete the area on the ocean side and then drain out the seawater so they can access the bottom of the plants. They must isolate the radioactivity as much as possible.

I read about this a couple of days ago. The article I read said it might happen at three of the reactors, and if they do have that kind of explosion this article and the one I read talk about, well, I don't have a clue what it will be like, I cannot imagine really, but both articles warn of a series of critical events, which none will be good. I can say one thing, what can we do anyway, the article says eat miso soup and flax seeds? I wonder when this is going to happen, they haven't actually got a time line on it I guess?

It will put a lot of radioactive particles into the atmosphere to travel with the Jet Stream to the US and Canada. Like what happened in Russia. Except Russia affected Europe.

I wonder if a controlled explosion wouldn't be better than waiting until the core hits the water table. The explosion should remove enough material to shut down the reaction, prior to it hitting the water table.

I would think that it would give you bigger pieces to clean up but reduce it from a critical mass. Once it hits the water the steam will create a lot of problems for the USA and Canada.
