Bradley Manning retrieved communications between Manning and an online chat user
identified on Manning’s computer as “Julian Assange,” the name of the founder of the
secret-spilling site that published hundreds of thousands of U.S. diplomatic cables.

Set up, the name could easily be inserted by someone. It could also be put there as subterfuge to lead someone up the garden path. You can easily change an account name, not altering the date of account creation and you can use any name you like. I've seen a number of people on the net posting under the name Julian Assange who are obviously not Julian. It looks as though Bradley Manning is being used as a Patsy. After reading the article I doubt it was Manning that leaked the info at all, most likely it was done by an operative hoping to somehow trap or gain information about the wikileaks information drop system which is definitely not done in chat rooms.

After reading the article , in it there is an account that has two names assigned to it , one of those names being Julian Assange , does this not smack of a set up ? Why two names ? Anyone got a good practical reason ?
