2012 must be the year we collectively wake up.

Natural Science, Vol.3 No.12, December 2011
Scrutinizing the atmospheric greenhouse effect and its climatic impact
by Gerhard Kramm, Ralph Dlugi"Based on our findings, we argue that 1) the so-called atmospheric greenhouse effect cannot be proved by the statistical description of fortuitous weather events that took place in a climate period, 2) the description by AMS and WMO has to be discarded because of physical reasons, 3) energy-flux budgets for the Earth-atmosphere system do not provide tangible evidence that the atmospheric greenhouse effect does exist. Because of this lack of tangible evidence it is time to acknowledge that the atmospheric greenhouse effect and especially its climatic impact are based on meritless conjectures."
But don't let that stop you trying to link every bad weather day to CO2.

Must be all that unprecedented global warming going on in Texas.
-0.65F/decade is looking really bad, isn't it? At this rate Texas will have more ice than the Arctic by 2100 - yikes - quick, someone tax CO2!!! - 5 months ago

Nasty looking drought chart there! Almost as bad as this one from 1934... but of course that was natural, last year's drought (in a very small part of the planet) was your fault for spewing out too much of a natural trace gas that comprises less than 4% of the atmosphere, and of which barely 3% is anthropogenic.
As for the other weather events shown here, there is absolutely no proof of any link between these events and CO2. Weather agencies were quick to dismiss any links between weather events and 'climate change', but that won't stop the extremists, of course. To them any weather which is not a calm and pleasant day is proof of man-made global warming. - 5 months ago

.
wake up in 2012?
the wake up call was 1962 with Rachel Carson's book : Silent Spring
and the ensuing 60's counter-culture said it all:anti-war
over-population
green energy
environmental protection
food sourcesnow
50 years later
do you know the concept of inertia and chain reaction?
kiss you and your's rosy cheeks good bye...* see
methane clathrates* the best you can do at this point?
enjoy the life you have and not waste it on fussing

When you look at the whole picture it is sad. Wait until part 3. The Philippines alone had some of the most extreme weather last year as in prior years as this has been building up.

What, videos of weather and repeat to them - it's your fault... it's your fault. Yeah, sure that'll work. You see, most people have moved on from the failed theory that driving cars makes the weather bad.

Arctic ice extent is looking pretty good, higher than other years in this graph... oh but I know ice extent is absolutely meaningless, (to you) although it wasn't a year ago when you were bleating on about ice extent being lower than 2007.
Interesting, in 2007 when ice extent was low it was a sign of man-made global warming, or as you called it, the canary in the coal mine of climate change. Now when ice extent is higher than previous years, well, it's insignificant. Hilarious, absolutely hilarious!!! - 5 months ago
