ummm, this is slightly scary. Here's why. SPS - Satellite Power System. The idea is to "beam" trapped solar power down to Earth's surface and collect it. Potential problems with this system?
How does a couple billion watts of microwave energy affect the weather at the receiving rectenna? Will the county that the rectenna resides in heat up by 20-30 degrees?Will the military change the path of the beam use it like a freakin Death Star?
