Nanoparticles Toxicity and DNA Change

Recent publications in medical journals raised many concerns regarding nanoparticals and their toxicity.
Superparamagnetic iron oxide nanoparticles are being widely used for various biomedical applications, say experts, from magnetic resonance imaging, targeted delivery of drugs or genes, to the treatment of hyperthermia.
Studies show that even if the practical and beneficial use of this technology is considerable, there might cause a potential cellular damage associated with the use of nanoparticles.
Cellular alterations in the form of DNA damage and oxidative stress are the greatest threat, say scholars. These include cellular perturbations including modulation of actin cytoskeleton, alteration in gene expression profiles, disturbance in iron homeostasis and altered cellular responses such as activation of signaling pathways and impairment of cell cycle regulation.

It's funny because since the late 1950's many in the scientific community have denied that DNA is affected by anything other than heredity. Another manufactured "consensus" that wasn't supposed to be questioned and led to resources being devoted to study hereditary lines in a way that is reminisce of old Eugenicists theory.
Well it's been proven that energy that falls on various parts of the electro- magnetic spectrum causes gene mutation. Even static magnetic fields can mutate your genes. http://iopscience.iop.org/1742-6596/156/1/012015/pdf/1742-6596_156_1_012015.pdf
Pretty much throws out the idea that your environment has no effect on gene mutations. Makes you wonder how much of the poisonous shit you eat, breath, drink and absorb through you skin everyday also corrupts your DNA.

I didn't title the video myself, and actually looked for a more "sane" title for the same video, still it doesn't take away from the facts.....
