I miss neither of those, the government cheese was too low quality and powedered anything tastes like chalk to me... doesn't mean I didn't grow up on, I just acquired taste buds once I got from under my worthless mother and tasted real food...

My mother, normally clueless about such stuff, got a reverse mortgage on the family home back in 2005. Typically a bad deal for older folks unless they live forever, the reverse mortgage was one of the few ways the banks got screwed when the housing market tanked. I got nothing out of it when she passed, of course, but the satisfaction was priceless. :)

No, to be honest no my mother didn't try at all... I can explain the story to you, but we all know I can get long winded and we are talking 15years of story to get thru and thats just the shit she pulled before my immancipation.

I hear ya, right now I am suffering through the fact that my mother is living off my brother (who only works at McDonalds, and she calls him the responsible one). I would be more inclined to help him, but I did give him fair warning it was coming when I was only 12.

Our whole family depends on each other. When someone needs something i.e. cash, food, car repair, transportation etc. then the others help out (my immediate family consistes of myself, my Mother, my Brother, and my Aunt our ages range from 40 to 73). My Mom and Aunt were the very lower middle class almost at the poverty level and never were never able to save for retirement so their funds are limited. Shit my Mom still works 40 hours a week at age 71.

I do think the GOP has some serious issues with the Money Men. GOP used to just take their money and delivery the product. Now the MM want to call the shots and there's confusion at the top. They're trying to figure how to make the traditional jump to the middle late this Spring without a tea party revolt. Worse, Romney is the only guy the middle will even consider but it looks like they're not gonna buy into him.

The Beltway media in their ultimate "wisdom" (they pretty much created the Tea Party out of whole cloth) is always trying to put their spin on the "narrative" of a politcal process. It is an artificial process and the phoniness of their approach wears thin quickly. They think the consuming public are all idiots. They are moutpieces for the GOP but they can't figure this one out.

Funny how he never mentions that the Banks will not loan money to the Entrepreneurs he is Speaking of, No???
