Anonymous, NSA, Power Grids and False Flags

Anonymous has never officially made a statement about attacking the power infrastructure at all. Sure, there were some drops of IP addresses in the recent past that they claimed were SCADA systems, but were only for HVAC systems. So where is the NSA getting this?

    • The NSA got this from themselves. A whole raft of operations are rumoured to be slated for March. It could all be disinformation or truly planned to create negative press against Anonymous or any other target they may have in mind. Journalists were tipped off quite sometime back about attempted infiltration into Anonymous and a number of groups flying under different banners, as well as false flag operations by an operative claiming to have worked with the CIA. The information provided by this operative has so far proven very accurate, whether recent rumours from other sources are as accurate remains to be seen, but next month looks at least to be a little interesting.

    • @Dagum... Uhm, all the idiots apparently... It's a matter of job differentiation. "Hey man, my job is to build the shit, not secure it.."

"Ya man, my job is to come in after the fact and layer on security at a massive cost to the operator, don't blow my gig!!"

lol. I don't want to hurt anyone's job security.

I'm just shocked that so many "local power plants" and "local power grids" owned by "local utility companies" needed to be redesigned and retrofitted for a Centralized Control Grid. One that apparently "needed" to be connected to the World Wide Web?

Strike my previous comment. I don't think an idiot designed that system at all...

    • Good post Paisano1 . Yes, definitely FF. And what idiot would design a system in which a huge chunk of the nation's power grid is hooked up to the internet?
