It is so easy to tell Brazil to cleanse the earth of it's evils. No incentives to back their cheap adice with. It's like some cosmic requirement that these two Jackel & Hyde articles appear at approx the same time. Tomorrow is Sunday. Do the "Right thing Brazil" Be a good nut. This will be devastating to the Amazon, it's indigenous people and our global climate. We have a chance to have our voices heard. We must raise them NOW. And make no mistake, Monsanto's (industrial agriculture et al) hand is in this as well.

I mailed my letter a few weeks ago (motivated by one of your earlier posts).
I don't know what I find more disturbing -- the fact that this atrocity is taking place or the complete lack of concern witnessed here. This important story has been in the top 20 for three days now and only 70 views and one comment. What has happened to Current? Is U.S. politics and God bashing the only thing that matters anymore?
Where have all the caring posters gone? Where is the support among caring posters?
