The 2013 VW Beetle TDI convertible is the most fuel efficient ragtop sold in America today. It's also the only clean diesel convertible. Perhaps one day, we'll be able to choose from roofless electric and hybrids, but until then, the Beetle TDI's holds the drop top MPG crown.
