These are most of the titles that had been removed from ADV Films' catalog in January. A majority of them were relisted in ADV Films' catalog in February, only to be gradually removed for a second time. ADV Films also once planned to release Gurren Lagann, but Bandai Entertainment announced in May that it had acquired the series. 5 Centimeters Per Second is not on Funimation's list of transferred titles, but copies of ADV Films' release remain available at retailers.
The joint Funimation/ARM announcement comes the day after Funimation announced it will also manufacture and distribute select titles that Geneon Entertainment (USA) had planned to release before it ceased in-house DVD distribution. Funimation indicated that the new titles from ARM will be significant to its efforts in "social networking, the FUNimation Channel, and Internet VOD."

Ceci n'est pas une mouche (This is not a fly)
A story about a guy in an art gallery, a painted fly that seems to be playing mind games on him, and a very angry CCTV camera that will not let him get too close to find out what is going on. I created this film as my final project in the Postgraduate Character Animation course at Central Saint Martins College of Art and Design in London.
This is a short animated film that discusses how one can relate to art and the space in which it is exhibited, and how one's behavior might be dictaded by the fact that they are under surveillance.
Inspiration: the first thing I though of when contemplating the painting of 'Saint Catherine of Alexandria' by Carlo Crivelli was how it reminded me of the idea behind Magritte's 'Ceci n'est pas une pipe' (this is not a pipe). In the XV century, Crivelli painted a real size fly next to a 30cm tall saint, and it seems that both artists were playing with the theme of representation versus reality. That is where I got my title, 'Ceci n'est pas une mouche' (this is not a fly), which makes a reference to Magritte and to how images can be deceiving, at the same time that it captures the playfull tone of the story. A story about a guy in an art gallery, a painted fly that seems to be playing mind games on him, and a very angry CCTV camera that wil... more -

Pain O Chokolat
Attention. Il parait qu’ils remettent ça l’année prochaine…
