current for photographers?
I recently discovered photoworkshop.com, a website that is similar to current_ in that it emphasizes the community of the members and allows members of the community to critique the work of the other members. The website also offers "motivational and inspirational assignments" weekly, which can be commented on. Instead of video and the wide range of other multimedia that is covered on current_, Photo Workshop is for photographers. Unlike current_, membership to the site costs a small fee. I think it's well worth the cost to upload photos and get responses and critiques of your work. Maybe I'm just way behind the ball and most of you already know about it, but I wanted to pass the word along to those who didn't since it is very similar to this great website. Ashanti's Killer Website Removed
After launching a controversial advertising campaign to promote a new release for Ashanti, Motown Records announced that it has dropped the killer spots.
Ashanti and Motown made waves with “Gotcha-Grams,” used to promote her new single. The grams, which coincided with the singer’s latest single, “The Way I Love You” depicted violence and murder. Users opting to participate in the interactive campaign could go on a website, select a “victim” (who may have “broken the heart” of the sender) and personalize a news report showing the murder of said victim.

GIAPPONE, IN 9 MESI GUARDA 780.000 SITI PORNO
Keep in touch,

Judge posted nude pictures on his website
Alex Kozinski, who is presiding over an obscenity trial in L.A., admits he posted sexually explicit photos and videos. He says he didn't think the public could see the site, which is now blocked.
An obscenity trial in Los Angeles federal court was suspended today after LA Times reported that the judge presiding over the case has maintained his own publicly accessible website featuring sexually explicit photos and videos.
Alex Kozinski, chief judge of the U.S. 9th Circuit Court of Appeals, acknowledged that he had posted the materials, which included a photo of naked women on all fours painted to look like cows and a video of a half-dressed man cavorting with a sexually aroused farm animal. Some of the material was inappropriate, he conceded, although he defended other sexually explicit content as "funny."
Kozinski said that he thought the site was for his private storage and that he was not aware the images could be seen by the public, although he also said he had shared some material on the site with friends.

The PNAC website is down!
If you click on the link, you will land on a page with another url which announces that "This Account Has Been Suspended"
That is something I had not anticipated - now I can no longer act on my intentions of downloading all their PDF files in which much of their planned crimes (some already committed) were laid out in detail. I did download the most important one - "Rebuilding America's Defenses". Doubtless countless of people have downloaded the lot, so they are not altogether lost, but one can get lost in conjectures as to the reasons why they have suspended their internet account. Ebay Sues Craigslist
The online auction giant eBay is suing the popular internet community ad site Craigslist to "safeguard its four-year financial investment".
In a statement, eBay claimed that in January, Craigslist executives took actions that "unfairly diluted eBay's economic interest by more than 10%".
No details of those actions were given by eBay.
In its company blog, Craigslist said it was surprised and disappointed by eBay's "unfounded allegations".
The company said eBay's legal action "came to us out of the blue".
The case, which is sealed, has been filed in a court in Delaware, where Craigslist is registered.
In a press statement, eBay claims that Craigslist's founder Craig Newmark and its chief executive Jim Buckmaster adopted unspecified measures in January that have disadvantaged eBay and its investment.
