Come si scrive polizia? Con due "z". E le divise vanno al macero.
Possibile?, si chiederà qualcuno. Possibile e incredibile e... alla faccia del risparmio predicato e poco abilitato. La vita da poliziotto Vale davvero poco in termini di guadagno mensile: 1200 euro scrivono oggi i giornali. Con quel che costa la vita oggi, c'è poco da rallegrarsene per chi ogni ora e minuto del suo lavoro rischia anche la vita.
C'è dell'altro che crea ilarità e qualche scuotimento di testa. Lo scorso anno son state consegnate le nuove divise che, però, nessuno ha potuto indossare. Motivo: due zeta che han fatto diventare i nostri poliziotti, polizzia.
L'errore è dovuto al fatto che le nuove divise sono state fatte da una ditta polacca al posto di quella italiana che costava di più.
Risultato: l'intero stock è finito al macero.

La Cina e l'omosessualità alla vigilia delle Olimpiadi
BABILONIA pubblica la ricerca della sessuologa cinese Li Yhne sui sentimenti dei cinesi nei confronti dell'omosessualità. Lei propone la depenalizzazione delle orge e della prostituzione mentre Pechino apre due locali per drag queen. Una svolta prima delle Olimpiadi? E la sociologa Chiara Bertone spiega l'omofobia italiana.
Si chiama Li Yhne, è cinese, ha 56 anni ed è molto famosa in Cina. Da tempo analizza i comportamenti sessuali dei cinesi e le norme statali che li regolano. L'ultima sua ricerca riguarda l'atteggiamento dei cittadini cinesi nei confronti della popolazione glbt (gay, lesbica, bisessuale, transessuale). Lo studio, pubblicato sull'ultimo numero di Babilonia è quanto meno sorprendente.
Il 20 per cento dei cinesi ritiene che non ci sia nulla di male nell'omosessualità a fronte del 30 per cento che dice che è sbagliata, anche se solo in parte. Il restante 40 per cento ritiene l'omosessualità un comportamento esecrabile.
Quanti cinesi hanno conosciuto un gay o una lesbica?
Solo il 7 per cento degli intervistati afferma di aver conosciuto un gay o una lesbica. Secondo la ricercatrice, questo è dovuto alla mancata conoscenza degli individui gay e lesbiche, all'ignoranza che si ha sull'omosessualità.
In realtà, secondo la ricerca di Li Yhne ben 6 persone su 10 si dichiarano pronti a diventare amici di un omosessuale.
Sul contesto lavorativo, i contrasti si accentuano. Si spacca a metà l'opinione tra chi accetta e chi è contraria alla presenza di individui omosessuali tra gli insegnanti scolastici e chi vorrebbe spostare di classe i figli una volta scoperta l'omosessualità dell'insegnante.
Allo stesso tempo, nove cinesi su dieci sono favorevoli all'eguaglianza di diritti tra eterosessuali e omosessuali per quello che riguarda le opportunità di accesso al mondo del lavoro.
Entrando nel contesto familiare, tre quarti della popolazione accetterebbe un figlio o una figlia omosessuali, anche se molti sperano in un cambiamento dell'orientamento sessuale.
Restando nell'ambito familiare, sette persone su dieci sono contrarie a concedere forme di riconoscimento alle unioni tra persone dello stesso sesso.
Va comunque ricordato che l'omosessualità è stata depenalizzata solamente 11 anni fa e non figura nella lista delle malattie mentali redatte dall'Ordine degli psicologi cinesi.
Sullo stesso numero di Babilonia, la sociologa Chiara Bertone spiega il progetto Family Matters, presentato a Firenze.Nella lunga intervista, su come padri e madri devono comportarsi verso un figlio o una figlia omosessuali spiega: «Più che di regole i genitori necessitano di informazione sull'omosessualità, che li rassicuri rispetto al senso di colpa. Dire chiaramente che l'omosessualità non è un problema. (...) Siamo una società omofoba. Anche in famiglia è data per scontata l'eterosessualità, tale da non vedere la possibilità che un figlio sia gay o lesbica. Anche se dei segnali venivano dati era così forte l'aspettativa di eterosessualità da oscurare ogni altra possibilità di decifrare segnali di disagio. L'omofobia che esiste a vari livelli rende ciechi all'idea che il proprio figlio possa essere omosessuale».

In Australia il primo villaggio per gli omosessuali anziani. Riposo nel lusso
Non chiamatela casa di riposo. Il villaggio che si sta costruendo a 90 chilometri da Melbourne, in Australia, avrà tutte le caratteristiche di lusso e poco quella di una casa di riposo. Il complesso avrà 120 villette a due o tre camere da letto e verrà dotato di tutti i comfort e divertimenti: campo da tennis, bocce, un teatro all'aperto, piscina, una raffinata spa, palestra, un caffè-ristorante, una sala da musica e un business centre.
Il villaggio, denominato Linton Estate, sarà riservato a gay, lesbiche e transessuaii, non importa se soli o in compagnia.
Il villaggio si trova nei dintorni di Daylesford, dove attualmente ci vive una delle maggiori popolazioni omosessuali dell'Australia rurale.
C'è da immaginarsi che i costi per una villa non saranno proprio da pensionati. Ma la società costruttrice non è affatto preoccupata: forse, non basteranno, e ce ne vorranno di nuove. Bologna. La figlia affidata anche al padre omosessuale
Una sentenza che farà discutere parecchio. A Bologna un tribunale ha deciso su una coppia separata nella quale il padre è omosessuale. Materia del contendere, una figlia minorenne, affidata alla madre. In un primo tempo, tutto filava liscio, la madre aveva acconsentito al padre di vedere la propria figlia. Poi la lite e il divieto.
A questo punto, il padre si è rivolto ai giudici che oggi hanno fissato una regolamentazione dei tempi nei quali il padre potrà stare con la propria figlia. E potrà passarci davvero tanto tempo: un weekend a settimane alterne, tre settimane in estate, 6 giorni a Natale e tre a Pasqua.

Causa persa contro le lesbiche.
Ci avevano tentato i prodi di un comitato che aveva portato in tribunale un gruppo di attivisti gay di Atene. Ma il giudice è stato perentorio: non può essere proibito l'uso del nome Lesbo per definire la propria sessualità.
E còsì i cittadini dell'isola di Lesbo dovranno rassegnarsi. Il giudice è andato a rileggersi l'origine etimologica della parola incriminata non riscontrando alcun danno verso chiunque. Inoltre, a detta del giudice, il riferimento all'omosessualità femminile non nuoce all'economia dell'isola, visto che è frequentata ogni anno da turiste lesbiche richiamate da iniziative promosse dalle varie associazioni gay e, ovviamente da una natura e un mare semplicemente affascinanti. Attack injures several near Obama's Jerusalem hotel
The driver of an excavator was shot and killed after he drove the construction vehicle over a number of cars near the Jerusalem hotel where Barack Obama is scheduled to stay Tuesday night, according to police.
The excavator used in the attack sits behind a car near the King David Hotel in Jerusalem on Tuesday.
Israeli medical sources said two people were wounded.
An eyewitness told CNN that he saw the machine overturn two cars near the King David Hotel in downtown Jerusalem, where the U.S. presidential candidate will be staying when he arrives in Israel.
The incident comes three weeks after a similar attack in Jerusalem, in which a Palestinian construction worker rammed a front-end loader into a string of vehicles, killing at least three people before he was shot and killed by Israeli police.

“Wardrobe Malfunction” Fine Stripped: Timberlake Sings About It
Last night on ESPYs, Justin Timberlake performed a song about Janet Jackson's legendary “wardrobe malfunction” during the 2004 Super Bowl.
Coincidentally, this morning the Third Circuit Court overturned the $550,000 fine that CBS had paid to the FCC for the incident, ruling that the network could not be held accountable for the actions of “independent contractors” (Timberlake and Janet Jackson).
