    • Etiquette experts draw up social networking rules

Etiquette experts Debrett's have drawn up a new set of rules to help young people politely navigate social networking sites. The authority on good manners said users should never post a profile picture they would not want to see in their local newspaper.

And it was always necessary to wait 24 hours to "gather your thoughts" before accepting or removing a friend. Almost two-thirds of people (62%) are frustrated and confused by social situations presented by sites such as Facebook, MySpace and Bebo, a poll for mobile phone network Orange found.

    • The Masai guide to Britain

Six Masai warriors, who are so fierce they kill male lions with their bare hands, are coming to Britain to run the London marathon. There is such a culture clash between the worlds that we live in that the Masai have been given a four page guide to getting along in Blighty.

"You may be surprised by the number of people that there are and they all seem to be rushing around everywhere," a description fairly fitting for our beloved island. "Many of them just work in offices, jobs they don't enjoy, and so they do not smile as much as they should."

In the same way that a child can ask the most enlightening of questions, the things we take for granted are being spelled out for the warriors who are confused by our customs and laws, "For example, if someone was to see a thief and chase after him and, when they catch him they hurt him, then the person who hurt the thief would go to prison as well as the thief."

With such a chasm between Masai and UK lifestyles you'd think that there wouldn't be much common ground to share, but of course there seems to be one thing that unites all of us, "Many people drink alcohol in England. They do so at bars, at homes or at clubs - the English equivalent to a Masai party. When people drink they [seem] sillier or different..."

    • Strip Club Etiquette for EVERYONE

Using this guide to strip club etiquette will help ensure that your next visit to the local cabaret goes well and that you leave without insult or injury. A bad visit to the strip club can include being doused in your $9 drink, a sore bottom (which the bouncer tossed you out on), and hurt feelings all around; a good visit means you had fun, met some new people, and look forward to going back.

    • Whoever said that kids don't eat well anymore?

These fifth-graders were part of a program started by Spoons Across America: the Dinner Party Project, which was designed to teach kids about cooking, nutrition, meal planning, food safety, and etiquette.

"It sounds like a recipe for chaos: 20 fifth-graders in a school cafeteria kitchen on a muggy Saturday afternoon, preparing an ambitious seasonal menu for a guest list of 120. But at the Bridge School here late last month, everything was running like clockwork. The children were lined up, wearing aprons, ready to cook dinner for a crowd of parents, grandparents, siblings, and school and community leaders."

    • Laptop Etiquette in the Air

Come on...you know you sneak peeks...s it OK to read a fellow passenger's spreadsheet when it's just sitting there in full view? Do you feel entitled to watch R-rated slasher flicks? And what about the kids? Do you have to tailor your DVD selections for their — or their parents'— sensibilities? Such questions are up for debate in an era when planes are packed to record levels, more travelers use laptops for work and entertainment — and there are no official rules guiding laptop etiquette in the sky.
