9 Year Old Girl Dies In Blast
A blast in Plymouth, Devon, has killed nine-year-old Stephanie Hammacott as well as injuring four other people.
The gas explosion fatally injured Stephanie after the force of the blast blew a wall out of her house, just as she walked to school with her mother in Plymouth. Her mother is said to have also been a victim of the blast, however she only suffered minor injuries.
Two elderly occupants of the Bulteel Gardens house suffered smoke inhalation and a passer-by was slightly injured. Local residents have not been allowed to go back to their homes as investigations continue.
