Cover model sues magazine for gay harassment
A cover model for Genre Magazine is suing the magazine that allegedly printed a series of provocative photos intended for his personal use without his permission.
After the magazine had gone on sale, Benjamin Massing, 20, says he was subjected to unwanted advances and harassment from gay men and decided to sue the magazine and the photographer for invasion of privacy.
Massing, who is straight, is majoring in molecular biology at the University of Southern Florida. Lawyers for student say the photo spread, which flanked advertisements for sex toys and lubricant, has made it difficult for Massing to book jobs.
The suit alleges Massing has been subjected to sexual solicitations from strangers and the model claims he’s suffered humiliation and damage to his career as a result of the photo spread.
Massing has previously appeared almost in the buff for an Abercrombie & Fitch catalogue. The model also sported a pinstriped suit for an issue of Playboy spotlighting eligible college men. Alice Dellal filled Kate Moss's boots as the latest lingerie model for sexy-knicker providers Agent Provocateur, but it seems she might too be on the same road as Kate Moss, after someone leaked photos of her allegedly taking cocaine.
She recently signed up to Agent Provocateur for a £500,000 deal after being 'feted by the fashion world for her trademark shaven hair.'

50-year-old Ellen DeGeneres is reported to be shooting an advertising campaign for one of America's top cosmetics companies this week.
The reported $1m Cover Girl (£565,000) deal was revealed in the New York Post. It is another coup for the successful TV presenter, who married her partner Portia De Rossi in California last month.
