Haptic Typeface Family
What started out as my thesis project is now a complete sans serif typeface family in 14 styles.
While drafting and shaping the letters I was driven by one question: How much character can a typeface bear before losing legibility? By designing Haptic I tried to find an answer. Through its versatile character traits, such as rounded or angular terminals, Haptic gains visual warmth and sympathy, but retains its readability nonetheless.
The Haptic family was optimized for use in small sized text. What started out as my thesis project is now a complete sans serif typeface family in 14 styles. ... more -

Chop Chop is a extraordinary hybrid: two parts hair salon, one part art gallery and zero parts pretense.

Help Me Choose A New Logo (or not!)
Not sure if I should even change it, but if I do, I’ve created two modifications of the original that I’m debating between.
Give me your feedback on either Version A or Version B by leaving a comment for A or B (or let me know if I just need to keep the current logo): Not sure if I should even change it, but if I do, I’ve created two modifications of the original that I’m debating between. ... more -

God Speaks to His Artists and Designers
Many of my online community have let me know that one thing that they desire is to hear from God on what He wants them to do with their gift.
The method of receiving the answer is easy, following through and doing it is what I’ve always found to be the challenge: Your one-on-one quiet time alone with God is the key to hearing His voice: Many of my online community have let me know that one thing that they desire is to hear from God on what He wants them to do with thei... more -

Plagiarists Plagiarizing Plagiarists ?
Shepard Fairey (better known for his OBEY posters, if you are not familiar with, you need to step out of your time capsule and smell the flowers, bud) is one of my favorite graphic artists. Found throughout many blogs/feeds sites including your local FecalFace, this controversy of this design is interesting to the graphic and arts community.

If you are a fan/familiar with mr.Fairey's art, I came across (through a fecalface comment I think) this interesting analysis from Los Angeles artist Mark Vallen (read given article first then this one:)
