If only every prison was like this. Id imagine less fights break out here.

The Worlds Longest Bike - Amazing
It has been to our attention that the longest bike in the world, officialy registered by Guinness record book is from Russia. It’s creator Oleg “Leshij” Rogov was from Tver city, a small town near Moscow city. He was a big biker fan since his childhood. One day he has got an idea to build the longest bike in the world, according to his own story “probably after he got too much  beer inside”.
So after two years of planning and delaying he did it. He built the bike that was 31 feet 4 inches long (9 metres 57 cm). After the thing was ready he sent his claim to the Guiness book and got registered as longest bike in the world.
The saddest part of the story is that he got into accident and died this summer, still we have the photos of his creation, it would be some kind of tribute to him. War with Iran will not stop "nuclear program".
A U.S. military strike on Iran's nuclear facilities could set Tehran's program back years but would raise the risk of retaliation against American troops in the region and of driving Iran to work even harder to make atomic weapons, U.S. experts and officials say.
Any U.S. attack -- something the Pentagon insists is not planned but is subject of frequent speculation as Iran defies calls to rein in its nuclear program -- could involve thousands of sorties and missile launches against hundreds of targets. It would be limited to air strikes, rather than a full-scale attack requiring U.S. ground forces, who are now tied down in Iraq and Afghanistan, analysts said.
But the strike would be hampered by a lack of intelligence on the number and location of the nuclear facilities dispersed throughout Iran, according to nuclear security experts.
At best, many experts say a U.S. strike could delay Iran's nuclear weapons capability by three to five years. Parts of the program would likely survive, perhaps even critical technologies and certainly know-how.
"We could set it back probably at least several months maybe a few years but then we run the risk of stimulating them to work even harder next time, burying facilities even deeper, putting in more air defence batteries," said Charles Ferguson, nuclear expert at the Council on Foreign Relations think tank.facilities are scattered throughout the country and could be included as targets, experts speculated. Satellite pictures suggest Iran has dug tunnels around Natanz, for example, which could contain uranium enrichment equipment.
Nuclear research facilities in Iran's capital might be targeted as well, but such strikes raise the risk of civilian casualties and the attendant risk of international uproar, said U.S. defense officials, speaking on condition of anonymity. The military risks, however, are high, according to both defense analysts and officials.
Primary among them is the possibility of retaliation against U.S. troops by Islamist militant groups Washington says Tehran supports. The U.S. military accuses Iran of training and equipping the Shi'ite militias in Iraq, which are seen by U.S. commanders as one of the largest threats in that country.
But particularly frightening to officials inside the Pentagon is the possibility Iran would use suicide boats to attack U.S. ships in the Gulf or to disrupt crude oil trade.

How Dangerous Are CAT Scans?
Computed tomography (CT or CAT) scans help doctors detect everything from cancer to kidney stones. But some physicians are raising concerns about the safety of such procedures — most notably, an increase in cancer risk. A CT scan packs a mega-dose of radiation — as much as 500 times that of a conventional X-ray.researchers behind two recent studies that sound the alarm about the increased cancer risk associated with multiple CT scans. In the first study of its kind, physicians at hospitals in Florida and Washington, D.C., evaluated the medical-imaging records of 1,243 randomly selected patients to calculate just how much radiation each patient had sustained in the past five years. Although CT scans were the biggest source of radiation, other offenders included X-rays and mammograms. The results of the study, presented in May at the annual conference of the Society for Academic Emergency Medicine, were disturbing: the average patient had received 45 millisieverts (mSv) of radiation. (The typical chest X-ray dispatches 0.02 mSv of radiation.) And 12% of patients had gotten more than twice that amount — 100 mSv or more. One of the known survivors of ferry crash reaches dry land after 5 hour swim
For five hours, Jessie Buot swam through mountainous seas and torrential rain, until he reached dry land. He was the one of the fortunate ones. Most of the 862 passengers and crew aboard a ferry that capsized in a typhoon in the central Philippines are believed to have perished.
Philippine Navy divers rapped on the hull of the stricken ship, the MV Princess of Stars, yesterday but received no response. Meanwhile, bodies, including those of a man and a woman who had tied themselves together, washed ashore on nearby islands, along with life jackets and children's shoes.
Mr Buot is one of only 38 people known to have survived when the ferry sank near Sibuyan Island, after running into the path of typhoon Fengshen. "I tried to be brave, because I knew if I had succumbed to my fears, I would have died," he said.
Mr Buot, 24, who works on a mango farm, jumped off the ship when it began to capsize. "I held on to my life vest very tight so I wouldn't lose it, and I did not try to swim with others because I was afraid they might cling to me and we might all drown," he said.
One group of 28 passengers and crew washed ashore after drifting at sea for more than 24 hours, wearing life jackets. The coastguard was yesterday checking a report that another group of people – some dead, some alive – had been spotted in the water.
But for most of the distraught relatives waiting at a passenger terminal in the central city of Cebu, where the Princess of Stars was supposed to dock, the outlook appeared bleak. They included Laarni Condrilla, whose mother, father and two brothers were all on board the ship. Ms Condrilla, 26, was called by her mother as the ferry started to sink. She asked her daughter to pray for her. Then the line went dead.
If the death toll is as high as feared, it will be the worst maritime disaster in the Philippines for more than 20 years. But for many local people, the events are depressingly familiar. The country has a history of tragedies involving ferries, the main form of transport for impoverished Filipinos travelling between the archipelago's 7,100 islands.
The country is struck by about 20 typhoons a year, and grief-stricken relatives were yesterday asking why the Princess of Stars was allowed to set sail from Manila on a 20-hour voyage, with Fengshen already forecast. It seems, though, that the 24,000-tonne vessel was expected to skirt the storm and was deemed large enough to stay afloat in its periphery. Then the typhoon changed course.
The shipping company, Sulpicio Lines, has been involved in four disasters at sea, including a collision between a ferry and an oil tanker in 1987 which killed more than 4,000 people.
The rescue operation was being hampered by continuing poor weather, with pounding seas stalling efforts by Navy divers to drill into the ship's hull. The head of the coastguard, Vice-Admiral Wilfredo Tamayo, said: "We're not ruling out that somebody there is alive."
Reynato Lanoria, a janitor on the ship, was on the top deck when a crew member ordered passengers to put on life jackets. Half an hour later, the ferry began tilting so fast that children and elderly people fell over on the rain-slicked deck.
Gretchen Labadia received a text message from her husband as the ship began to sink. "Don't worry, I'm safe," he wrote. "I'll text you tomorrow.''

Indian students among the best in the world say Oxford University
The Oxford University considers Indian students among the best in the world and would like more of them joining its campus, Chancellor Chris Patten has said.
The university, which produced the likes of Prime Minister Manmohan Singh and Deputy Chairman of the Planning Commission Montek Singh Ahluwalia, has presently 257 Indian students on roll. But one-third of its students are from China.
"We want more Indian students because we want the best in the world to come to Oxford," Mr. Patten said. Most of the Indian students are in the Said Business School.
"About a quarter of the students are doing MBAs...but I would like to see more in social sciences and humanities, doing both under-graduate and post-graduate work," he said.
Though Indians are less in number, they have won more scholarships than the Chinese.
Last year, they won 54 different scholarships, including the prestigious Rhodes scholarship, according to an Oxford journal. "They (Indians) probably got more than China," the Chancellor said.
He said the number of scholarships may go up as the university improves its financial position.
"I hope as we develop our endowments we will be able to offer many more (scholarships) to post-graduate students in the next few years," Patten said. The university has developed a Master’s programme in South Asian studies.
For a one-year MBA programme, it could cost as much as Rs. 40 lakh, including the cost of tuition fee, boarding and lodging and the out-of-pocket expenses.
"It is a different world out here...We are gaining immensely," said Karandeep Singh Vohra, pursuing MBA at the Said Business School.

Phil's number one fan is his young son Blake who has been trying to copy his dad's distinctive hairstyle.
But he still has a long way to go to catch up. So far, all he has achieved is a classic Down Under mullet.
