The adventure is real, Bonnie Prince Charlie, Scotland's rebel Prince, took flight to escape the English after an attempt to claim the British Throne. He survived with the help of the Highland Clans, and as thanks, rewarded one family - the Mackinnons - with the secret recipe for his personal elixir - Drambuie - a blend of spiced heather honey and blended whiskies. Today, that spirit of adventure lives on in every bottle of Drambuie.
