Pujols angered at La Russa for All-Star benching
So yesterday I forecasted that this was the year for the National League to win the All-Star game. Obviously Tony La Russa didn't want that to happen. By benching Albert Pujols in the ninth inning he gave the National League a defeat on the worst terms imaginable. He may as well have picked the guy in the picture I used in this clipping. No pujols no all-star game and another year of waiting for the National League to find a manager that wants to win. All-Star Game. Why the National League will Win this year
"This is the year" The moniker of the Boston Red Sox faithful, who for so many years actually believed it was the truth. This year it is the year for the National League to win the damn All-Star game. Every year we loose to the Yankees/Red Sox filled team and give up home field advantage in the World Series. As a Dodger fan, whose team will likely end up in the World Series this game means something to me. I think it will be a combination of pitching (Peavy and Penny) and some timely hitting that will allow for the first NL win in years. Especially if the NL plays a little hit and run and not so much swing for the fences. The park is a pitchers park and I think we have the better pitchers.
