Nude climber craze tipped to take over Britain
Battling gravity on a number of levels, these naked climbers are demonstrating a new American craze tipped to take Britain by storm. Nude climbing has become popular among beginners and experienced adventurers alike.
Its followers say it is the closest they can get to nature, while requiring none of the harnesses and ropes of the normal sport.
One enthusiast has even taken to photographing participants, compiling the results into a calendar called Stone Nudes 2009 which, he says, is intended to "inspire and celebrate" the human form.
I'd hate to get rope-burn doing this. Battling gravity on a number of levels, these naked climbers are demonstrating a new American craze tipped to take Britain by storm. N... more -

Lawmakers may tell kids to 'get outside and play or pay!'
In New Mexico, the war is about to begin between Teens and Lawmakers. Reason why? A group of coalitions led by the Rio Grande chapter of the Sierra Club, is sold on the idea that outdoor education programs can inspire children in a way that video games and television cannot.
The coalition wants state lawmakers to create a No Child Left Inside Fund with a 1 percent tax on TVs, video games and video game equipment. The fund would help pay for outdoor education throughout the state.
Good idea? Bad idea? Whatcha think?
