More secret documents found on a train
So there you have it, yet more top secret documents have been left on a train, or so we are led to believe. Can it really be the case that in as little as two weeks top secret documents can be left by top secret intelligence type folks on non top secret train services on two separate occasions?
They were apparently found on the very same day that the first set of lost documents were handed to the BBC. According to the Independent on Sunday, the documents cover fighting global terrorist funding, drugs trafficking and money laundering.
Any opinions on what's going on? So there you have it, yet more top secret documents have been left on a train, or so we are led to believe. Can it really be the case ... more -
The Search for Steve Fossett
The hunt for multimillionaire adventurer Steve Fossett, who vanished in September after taking off by plane from a remote Nevada ranch, is resuming now that snow has melted in rugged mountains where he may have crashed. The searches won't match last year's extensive hunt; later this summer, two teams of volunteers plan to hike through a smaller area where Fossett, 63, was last seen. Lost - Documentario

The Lost Documentary
I'm so obsessed w/ the TV show Lost that i wrote my degree thesis on that show.
Beside the written thesis i made an DIY documentary where i did some interview to people that has got something to say about the show like Lost director Jack Bender.
Now i'm working on a extended version of this doc that probably is gonna come out on dvd before the end of this year.
I'm italian so the most of the doc is in italian but i put subs on it, probably with a lot of bad grammar and typos
I'm linkin the youtube cause the doc has got some Lost clips in it so i can't upload it on Current.
I'm workin on a clips-free version for CurrentTV.

Lost Spoiler...Matthew Fox Knows How It Will End
Besides the writers Matthew Fox seems to know how Lost will end. Since Lost has come back since the writer’s strike I find it to be more exciting. I thought they had lost the edge of your seat feeling. But the flashbacks/flashforwards are kind of confusing, I obsess for the first ten minutes what it is!
When asked if it were true that he knew how Lost would end and how his fellow cast members have responded, Fox said: “Yes, it’s true. They understand I can’t talk about it, but sometimes they’ll ask, just hoping I’ll blurt it out.” I suppose that knowing where exactly the series is going will help how Fox approaches the character of Jack over the final two seasons. However, knowledge like that has to be something of a burden – I know I’d have an exceedingly difficult time keeping it to myself.
So know we know Matthew Fox’s character, Jack, will play until the end. Besides the writers Matthew Fox seems to know how Lost will end. Since Lost has come back since the writer’s strike I find it to be mo... more -
Pensioner threatened with fine for putting up lost cat posters
"A pensioner has been threatened with a heavy fine after she put posters on lampposts trying to find the owners of a lost cat.
Kind-hearted Joy Tracey wanted to reunite Copper, the ginger tom, with his owners after she found him whimpering in her garden.
The grandmother-of-three visited numerous animal shelters, vets and pet shops in a bid to help the cat and also put adverts in the local paper and called the RSPCA.
But after two weeks of having no luck public-spirited Joy printed 12 laminated, A5-sized posters and tied them to lampposts near her home in Denton, Greater Manchester.
But she was soon called by enforcement officers telling her she was breaking the rules.
Joy said: "He said whilst he sympathised, it was an offence, and told me to remove them all from the Denton area or face a hefty fine.
"The world is going potty with petty officialdom. As long as I can remember, lost pets have been advertised on lampposts.
"I'd had no response and he's such a lovely cat I had to get him home."
Council rules dictate anyone who wants to put posters on lampposts must apply in writing to council highways engineers for permission at least 28 days in advance.
Offenders face a conviction and fine if the rules are broken or permitted posters are in place for more than 28 days.
Tameside Council said it was simply enforcing the rules on flyposting.
Thanks to the council's harsh reaction and local publicity, Copper has been reunited with his owners." "A pensioner has been threatened with a heavy fine after she put posters on lampposts trying to find the owners of a lost cat. ... more -

Lost's black box is scientifically sound
A discussion about black box technology, the difference between a cockpit voice recorder (CVR) and a flight data recorder (FDR), and the survival rate of black boxes submerged in the ocean.
Here's a snip:
"There’s another twist to the story. Most aircraft have two black boxes: one in the front and another in the tail. “If there’s an in-flight fire or some kind of structural failure, the wiring between the cockpit and rear recorder is compromised, so the recorder quits before the airplane quits flying,” explained Cash."
So the question remains, which black box does Widmore have? And, is it truly the black box from Oceanic Flight 815, or a plant by Benjamin Linus? A discussion about black box technology, the difference between a cockpit voice recorder (CVR) and a flight data recorder (FDR), and t... more -
