These observations have been culled from months of research and are guaranteed to help you win, too. (Note from Slate's lawyers: Observations not guaranteed to help you win.)
Most people who look at the winners of the caption contest say, "I could've done better than that." You're right. You could have. Rumours have emerged that “Family Guy” creator Seth MacFarlane has been linked to a deal with 20th Century Fox that could be worth $100 million.
If the rumours are true, the deal would see the 'Family Guy' creator become the highest paid writer/producer in television.
The deal has allegedly taken over two years to negotiate, with it covering Macfarlane's work on 'Family Guy,' his 'American Dad' series and the upcoming spin-off, 'The Cleveland Show,' up until 2012.
