Airport security can now see ALL your 'goods'
The US Transportation Security Administration expects that 30 unrobing security scanners will be installed in US airports by the end of 2008.
These scanners use 'millimeter waves' that can pierce through clothing to see suspicious objects like metals and plastics on people's bodies; the only catch is that this renders the traveler completely nude with full view of genitals, but a blurring of the face.
Many activists say that these 'graphic' images should not be a security measure as it greatly invades privacy.
The TSA argues that the images rendered by the machines are immediately disposed of after viewing and can in no way be transmitted anywhere, stored, or printed. The TSA also says that these scanners are merely an efficient (a scan takes about three seconds) alternative to body-patting.

Far from the somehow dusty sound of the 70's, the NuDisco scene reinvest the disco imagery, somewhere between abstract, electronic, and dance music...more "djable" as some of the bproducers say. Giorgio Moroder is not so far.
Discover the NuDisco extended family. On top of new and original “NuDisco” productions, the scene integrates the many processes of Re-Editing. The idea behind the Re-Edit is to take an obscure and forgotten track (Disco, Funk, Psychedelic Rock, Early Electro) and reshape it, rearrange it, play with it, in other words: rebuild it entierly to make it sound like 2008.
The ArtPack met five DJs/Producers from around the world, five emblematic figures from this new musical trend: Cosmo Vitelli, Mock & Toof, Aeroplane, Marco Dos Santos, Runaway...

"Sometimes hiring a sexy lady do the housework without her clothes on can cost a little more than the $100-an-hour you were expecting to pay.
A 50-year-old man in Tampa, Fla., found this out the hard way when a woman allegedly came to his house, took her clothes off, did a little dusting and then proceeded to pilfer $40,000 worth of his wife's jewelry that was evidently lying around. The man says that he left the woman alone to clean his bedroom.
Police have said that the woman, named Kenna Dimartini (left), is a "person of interest" in the case, and the man's wife -- who was out of town caring for her sick mother when her husband hired the maid on Craigslist -- has already told reporters that she is going to seek a divorce after the incident.
Questions Raised: If you hired a naked maid, why would you be in any room other than the one where she is cleaning? Where could a nude maid hide that much jewelry for her getaway?

Australian police shut down art exhibit containing nude teens, say charges "likely...
New South Wales police say they will probably issue charges over Bill Henson's controversial art exhibition in Sydney's Roslyn Oxley9 gallery for its portrayal of nude 12- and 13-year-old children.
Twenty of the 41 photos in the exhibition were confiscated for evidence.
The Commander at Rosebay, Alan Sicard, says the shots all depict one girl under the age of 16 in a sexual context. He has confirmed they are likely to press charges. "On the offence of publishing an indecent article under the Crimes Act," he said.
Henson and the gallery agreed Thursday to temporarily suspend the show to allow investigators to speak to the children and their parents, police said. In an online statement, Roslyn Oxley9 Gallery stated that it would reopen the exhibit without the controversial photographs. The statement also defended Henson's reputation as an internationally respected contemporary artist.
Prime Minister Kevin Rudd weighed in on the issue during a morning interview on Nine Network television.
"I find them absolutely revolting," he said when showed the photographs. "Whatever the artistic view of the merits of that sort of stuff — frankly I don't think there are any — just allow kids to be kids."
Meanwhile, some artists and gallery patrons viewed the shutdown as censorship.
"I think the sexualization of children is an extremely important (issue)," said art market analyst Michael Reid. "The question is: 'Was there consent?' which I can't answer, and 'Has the image been sexualized?' In my opinion, it wasn't."

After graduating from an elite private high school in Atlanta, Harold went to American University in Washington, DC, on a soccer scholarship. He began working toward a Liberal Arts degree in romance literature, only to abruptly depart after a year and a half following conflicts with his soccer coach. After dropping out of college, Harold moved to San Francisco in the late 80s to study photography at the San Francisco Art Institute. Nudeists are invading Family spots!
Don't know about you, but I certainly won't claim this as a family location any more. If you ever decide to visit the Nordstrand Nudist Beach in Erfurt, take some advice - don't go in winter. True, the fluffy ducks bobbing up and down on the lake are a pleasant sight. But the wind whips your ear holes, the squidgy plant-life washed up onto the shore gets all over your trousers. In these conditions, the thought of stripping off and embracing nature couldn't be further from your mind. (OTHER yhan the fluffy ducks...DON'T pet them just like that anymore, PLEASE. It's for YOUR own safety.)
