9/11 planes "fake cartoon display"
Former Cheif Economist to the Bush Amin: "I encourange everybody to do a frame-by-frame penetration of the South Tower, and what you will see is a fake cartoon display. Because an aluminum plane cannot go through a building like the South Tower was as if it were thin air, glide right through"
You're suggesting that there's some kind of cartoon animation, you're suggesting that the news media was a part of it?
"Yes I am... There was only one so-called "real time" film. Most of those were subsequent tapes and they are contrived."
"What we can do is point to WTC building 7, which was clearly a controlled demolition, and the Twin Towers were clearly an inside job in that they were blown to kingdom come" Former Cheif Economist to the Bush Amin: "I encourange everybody to do a frame-by-frame penetration of the South Tower, and what ... more -
Mad as Hell, a Call to Action
This is a rough version of my first serious animation project I did for a graphics and animation class. I realize the first half is very rough, but it gets better, I promise. There were requirements for the project which did not easily mesh with the original intent of this piece. I am currently in the process of re-working and improving it. Please let me know what you think. This is a rough version of my first serious animation project I did for a graphics and animation class. I realize the first half is ve... more

The new WALL-E trailer
I watched "Ratatouille" just before Thanksgiving and was reminded just how incredible Pixar's aggregate creative talent is. Now they've just released a new trailer for WALL-E -- their next movie -- and I am reminded once again.
(I mean, for the record, physical comedy with cute robots is not necessarily my thing, but I've learned better than to second-guess this studio.) I watched "Ratatouille" just before Thanksgiving and was reminded just how incredible Pixar's aggregate creative talent... more -

Melting Away
For the climate change skeptics: this isnt a bit of worst-case-scenario animation from Al Gores An Inconvenient Truth. Its actual time-lapse photography taken by NASA that shows just what happened to the Arctic ice cap this summer. Sperm Egg Swim
"Swim" is an abstract interpretation of conception and, more specifically, artificial insemination, produced entirely by graphic design. In a time where all is to be controlled, the elementary force of our very existence brings an undeniable fusion for a magic moment. This short film is simply about the power that brings us all to life. "Swim" is an abstract interpretation of conception and, more specifically, artificial insemination, produced entirely by gra... more

Beowulf Trailer
Can Hollywood stop with the Motion Capture animation please? Motion Capture isn't even animation, it's modern day Rotoscoping. Every character moves like they are underwater and the character models all look like they live in the "Uncanny Valley." Please Robert Zemeckis, please go back to making live action movies. You have no business being an "animation" director when you don't understand the medium in which you work. Can Hollywood stop with the Motion Capture animation please? Solar the Film
"Solar is a short animated film by Ian Wharton and Edward Shires. We are recent creative graduates from Cumbria Institute of the Arts, UK. This is the first short animated film we have written and produced.
Solar is a tale of the sun, moon and two characters who inhabit a world that relies on day and night perhaps more than it would seem.
The film just won Best in Show at our graduate exhibition." "Solar is a short animated film by Ian Wharton and Edward Shires. We are recent creative graduates from Cumbria Institute of the ... more
