A bicycling bank thief has hit three banks in Boston, MA.
In each robbery - in Weymouth, Watertown and Shrewsbury - the robber wore a form-fitting bicycling outfit and covered the bridge of his nose with a “surgical bandage".

16-yr-old suspected of seven bank robberies in France
A 16-year-old French girl arrested in connection with a bank robbery is suspected of involvement in a series of other hold-ups, a court official said.
Police said the girl was taken in for questioning on Wednesday following a robbery at an HSBC branch in Maisons-Alfort. She was found in possession of some of the stolen money. Her accomplices fled in a car when the police arrived.
Each time a young girl has entered alone, with her face uncovered, just like a normal customer. Former R&B singer gets 9 years in prison for bank robbery
An elderly former R&B singer who said he robbed a bank to pay his medical bills was sentenced to more than nine years in prison Wednesday.
Lester Russaw, 74, told U.S. District Judge Solomon Oliver during a sentencing hearing that he was desperate for money after losing his job. He failed to find work after months of looking, he said.
"I wasn't greedy," Russaw said. "I didn't do this because I wanted to buy drugs. I didn't do it to buy a big screen TV or a Rolex watch

Thai bank robber, decent sketch artists sought
The Thai Police have released the sketch of a man suspected robbing a bank in Bangkok several weeks ago. Apparently this sketch is based on the recollections of eyewitnesses, who says the suspect wore a motorcycle helmet at the time of the robbery.

Five jailed in multi-million heist
The notorious raid on a Kent Securitas depot in which 53 million GBP was stolen at gunpoint has today come to a close with five suspected men being jailed for sentences between 10 and 15 years.
A heavily-armed gang carried out the raid in February 2006 following the 'tiger' kidnapping of the depot's manager and family. Details of how the gang went about the complex raid would make a great story for a film, although the depot manager would no doubt give it a miss after calling it the "worst night of his life."

Life can be a real witch with a capital B sometimes.
At least that's what 55 year old Timothy Elliott will tell you. You see, Elliott purchased a $10 scratch card for $800 Million Spectacular earlier this year and against odds of 1 to 1,247,400, won £1 million dollars.
Now a hearing on 07 December could see him lose all the money.
Why? Well, Mr Elliott, pictured holding the first of his $50,000 annual installments, is a convicted bank robber, who under the terms of his probation was not supposed to "gamble, purchase lottery tickets or visit an establishment where gaming is conducted, including restaurants where Keno may be played."

Bank robbers stuck in Traffic
BELGRADE -- Police caught up with four bank robbers in Belgrade Thursday after their getaway car got stuck in traffic.
Thee four masked and armed men, identified as Nemanja Savić, Vlada Maksimović, Predrag Batos and Ilija Mijačić, first at 9 a.m. robbed the New Belgrade Societe General bank, taking some RSD 2.6mn and EUR 45,000.
But when they tried to cross the Sava River to reach Belgrade, they fell victim to infamous traffic congestion in the capital, allowing the police, which trapped them from both sides of a bridge, to catch up with them, make arrests and recover all the money.
