Nuovo aggiornamento delle classifiche hardware e software del mercato italiano:
Al primo posto, Star Wars: Il potere della forza per PS3, seguito dal sempre esaurito nei negozi Wiifit, e un titolo per PC: Warhammer Online.
La classifica hardware vede sempre nelle prime 2 posizioni DS e Wii, seguite da PSP mentre PS3 è ancora avanti a Xbox 360.

Police Suffer Grand Theft Auto
A truck stolen loaded with £600,000 worth of stolen computer games (including Grand Theft Auto IV) was seized by UK polive earlier this week - only for it to have been stolen back from the police pound hours later.
The determined crooks lifted seven pallets of games for the PS3 and were making their getaway when police pulled them over for having false numberplates, and taken to a secure depot. The thieves smashed the 'secure' depot and drove off, and are still thought to be on the loose. The stolen games, of course, are also unaccounted for. Resistance 2 VCAM PS3
I have used only HD footage in this VCAM so that it looks very crisp. The accompanying music has been used with permission, the track is called "Empire" by Atom tha Immortal, from the album "Sword of 77 faces". The lyrics of the song hint at the end of the world which I thought was appropriately morbid given the theme.
I adopted the invasion theme from the perspective of hostile aliens attacking the planet. I feel that the imagery that I have chosen for this video is very powerful, and will leave a strong impression on the viewer, which I thought was pretty useful when advertising a product :)

Obviously, writing for a gadget site, I find gadgets cool. However, at some point you find yourself with as many gadgets as you really need, possibly more. At which case you have to figure out what to do with the money you set aside for gadget funding. This is the point when you can either keep buying gadgets or find ways to pamper the ones you currently have with skins and cases. The PS3 already has a nice sleek design, the all black case looks plenty good all on its own.
Frankly in most cases I would never consider covering it, yet this cover is probably the one cover that could change my mind. The protective mask cover features a screaming skull trying to push its way out of your PS3. It is also a little different than a skin, because it isn’t actually a sticky cover. It’s a hard shell that attaches instead of being just a giant pretty sticker. It is being sold on SourcingMap for $10.99 a piece.

Warrior Quest Relaunched
Since its re-launch two weeks ago Warrior Quest, a free-to-play online RPG, has seen its console audience grow to surpass its already substantial PC and Mac following. Lead by PlayStation 3 gamers, console players have been logging on to Warrior Quest in record numbers, far surpassing the number of players accessing the game from home videogame consoles in any preceding month. Following closely behind PlayStation gamers, Warrior Quest has also developed a strong audience among Wii owners who, like PS3 gamers, can access Warrior Quest through their console’s internet browser.
Warrior Quest is RPG designed for casual and expanded audiences that revolves around card collection and turn based battles. Online leader boards allow gamers to submit their scores and see where they stand in the game’s worldwide rankings. The game is free-to-play with premium content due for release in the coming months to further expand the gaming experience.
The surge in console gamers logging on to Warrior Quest comes just as the game’s developer and publisher, NextGenBooks.com announces it will be changing to mikomi.info. Eurogamer distribute beta keys for Socom Confrontation!
Those of you wondering whether Sony plans to run the SOCOM Confrontation multiplayer beta in Europe can stop fretting: it does, and Eurogamer will have 6,000 keys to give away when it begins.
As revealed on the PlayStation Blog overnight, the SOCOM beta will run for a full month in the US from 5th September to 5th October - and while Sony has yet to confirm exact details for Europe, Eurogamer have announced they will be distributing keys. Little Big Planet to be the biggest selling PS3 title this year!
Speaking to VG247, Sony worldwide studios boss Shuhei Yoshida has predicted that Media Molecule blue-sky platformer LittleBigPlanet will be the biggest PS3 game this year on a global level.
“LittleBigPlanet is going to be the biggest title for Sony in all markets this year,” he said.
Yep. That includes Japan.
“History tells us how difficult it is for games developed in Europe or in the US to be successful in Japan, and with this generation we see Japanese consumer supporting more and more games coming from western Europe,” Yoshida added.
Not only will the game be the biggest PlayStation 3 game this year, said the exec, but it will show the way forward for games in general.
