Are All Black Ball Players Married To Women Outside There Race
"Girrrlll, that's what they all do: Cling to a sista while they're broke and in school. Then get a contract and put a ring on the white girl hand." Yeah, if you haven't said it you've heard it. The greatest issue in American racism is not separation of the races; in this melting pot we call America, it is actually the sexuality of the races. The notion, the irrational fear, that the black man is some brainless sex fiend fixated on white women, has fueled the hate groups.
The truth of the matter is that 90 percent of African-American married NBA players (such as Pat Ewing, Tim Hardaway, and Mitch Richmond) are married to African-American women. But most people believe that the majority of African-American NBA players are married to non-African-Americans. Why? Because the media highlights and shows the African-American player's wife who is not African-American five times more than showing the African-American wife. This biased or selective coverage gives people the false impression.
Look at the marital status of the 2001 NBA All-Star rosters:
Eastern Conference
Player Marital Status
Allen Iverson Married to African-American woman
Tracy McGrady Married to African-American woman
Alonzo Mourning Married to African-American woman
Vince Carter Married to African-American woman
Grant Hill Married to African-American woman
Allan Houston Married to African-American woman
Stephon Marbury Married to African-American woman
Anthony Mason Not married
Dikembe Mutombo Married to African-American woman
Theo Ratliff Married to African-American woman
Glenn Robinson Married to African-American woman
Latrell Spreweel Engaged to African-American woman
Jerry Stackhouse Married to African-American woman
Western Conference
Player Marital Status
Jason Kidd Married to Arabic-Indian woman
Kobe Byrant Married to Hispanic-Caucasian
Shaquille O'Neal Engaged to African-American woman
Tim Duncan Married to Caucasian
Chris Webber Not married
Kevin Garnett Not married
Karl Malone Married to Philippino woman
Gary Payton Married to African-American woman
David Robinson Married to Hispanic woman
Rasheed Wallace Married to African-American woman
Other Examples of How the Media Distorts Perceptions During the 2000 NBA playoffs, Shaquille O'Neal, Los Angeles Laker, announced his engagement to an African-American woman. The media did not cover the engagement. When fellow LA-Laker Kobe Bryant announced his engagement to a non-African-American, all the media was abuzz with the story.
It was something that was concerning me.
Let's Set The Record Straight

***SDSU DRUG BUST***
I'm going to pray for those students tied to the SDSU Drug Bust.
Rule 1 ---Never use text messaging or email for dope selling purposes,
why, because it can be used as a fingerprint/paper trail leading back to you.
Rule 2---Never jeperdize your future for short bread--You will make more in life being free
then you ever will locked up in prison.
Rule 3---Student or Drug Dealer make a choice---Close to 100 students went down because of this, they took seats from prospective students, who would have done the right thing, if they had that oppertunity.
Rule 4---100 person operation is a No-Go---Thats way to many people to have involved in the mix, the chance of being caught is GREAT---100 people= A Swiss Cheese operation: Meaning there holes in the foundation of your operation. Theres no telling who's saying what when your not face to face (pillowtalking/Snitching/fat mouthin/etc)
Drugs were here before we were born, it will be here after we die, handle your business .
This is your Life
Don't be stupid

"DAVIS, Calif. (AP) — A student is in custody following the discovery of explosive devices at the University of California, Davis.
University police Capt. Joyce Souza tells the Sacramento Bee that investigators found what appears to be two pipe bombs in a dorm.
Four hundred students have been evacuated from eight dormitory buildings while police investigate.

Harvard to Aid Middle-class Students
"Harvard University announced on Monday that it would significantly increase the financial aid it offered to middle-class and upper-middle-class students, seeking to allay concerns that elite colleges are becoming too expensive for even relatively well-off families.
The move, to go into effect in the next school year, appears to make Harvards aid to students with household incomes from $120,000 to $180,000 the most generous of any of the countrys prestigious private universities. Harvard will generally charge such students 10 percent of their family household income per year, substantially subsidizing the annual cost of more than $45,600."

Protection or Intrusion?
FBI officials and university presidents are increasingly concerned about the theft of unclassified but sensitive university research that could be used by foreign countries for business advantage or military use.
To prevent such crimes, the presidents of 17 colleges and universities who are on the National Security Higher Education Advisory Board, met FBI officials just over a week ago in Washington, D.C., to discuss terrorism, counterintelligence and homeland security on campuses.
However, at schools such as UC Berkeley, the birthplace of the Free Speech movement, the FBI has a contentious history. Some faculty and students have long criticized prior university relationships with the FBI as harmful to free speech and the spirit of learning on campus. Many college presidents are sensitive to even the appearance of impinging on the tradition of academic freedom or free speech on campus. Footbaths to Benefit Muslims
Nationwide, more than a dozen universities have footbaths, many installed in new buildings. On some campuses, like George Mason University in Virginia, and Eastern Michigan University in Ypsilanti, Mich., there was no outcry. At Eastern Michigan, even some Muslim students were surprised by the appearance of the footbath a single spigot delivering 45 seconds of water in a partitioned corner of the restroom in the new student union.
