The worst kept secret has finally been “officially” revealed. Eminem has indeed returned to the studio and is currently in the process of writing and recording his long-awaited fifth studio album.
Though Eminem’s planned return has been common knowledge for some time, the acclaimed rapper recently confirmed the news during LL Cool J’s radio program.
Details remain sketchy, though it is expected to see a release before the end of the year.
Eminem, whose real name is Marshall Mathers and also goes by the name Slim Shady, was invented to perform at Nelson Mandela’s birthday party, but he didn’t show up.
Does Eminem really need a comeback? He never stopped selling millions of albums. The worst kept secret has finally been “officially” revealed. Eminem has indeed returned to the studio and is currently in the process... more -

Eminem to sing at Nelson Mandela’s birthday party
This is not at all what we were expecting from the “retired” rapper. Eminem who has been writing songs and working on a comeback, and I say that every so lightly because I think the heavyweight rapper (no pun intended) will be welcomed back by most with open arms. June 27th at Hyde Park in London is the place to be if you are good friends with South Africa’s ex-president Nelson Mandela. This is not at all what we were expecting from the “retired” rapper. Keep it Secret? ..What the heck! Here's a Real Secret out of the bag
Ok..please excuse this RANT, but this is making me a bit mad(er). How can you achieve peace when the opinions are kept secret and only/maybe given to each of the two sides. Does that mean if side 'A' throws a rock at side 'B', and Side 'B' throws back a BIGGER rock to get back at them..does that mean Side A will be told (secretly) to stop throwing rocks at their neighbor OR ELSE! and side B will be told if side A throws anymore rocks, let us know so we can secretly tell them they have one more chance or they're gonna see a rock so big it will eclipse the sun for a day. Then they tell the press that the other side was preparing to throw a large rock, so we countered the big rock with the rock that eclipsed the sun. That'll teach em!
The secret about the land being built on is out..hmmm, I thought something like that would put a monkey wrench into any road to peace. Even with my ex wife....Why is this being allowed? I mean, don't those people want some of their land back, or is this land the other side (with bigger rocks) needs to keep peace and put an outpost there? (sounds familiar)
I have nothing against any of the people on either side. The rock throwing needs to stop and some decent aid for the real poor in the occupied lands would be a great step. Maybe even give back some of their land that their great great great great grandfathers owned and took care of for so long and was supposedly 'borrowed', but never returned.
Again, I have nothing against either side there. (its the darn governments greed again!!) I love the people from both sides. But, if the USA government gave the Palestine people 500 mil $ a day to protect itself with bigger rocks, feed the poor, educate the young, like they do Israel, then you have some people that see a road to peace is real and not a big secret. I mean, if it wasn't for the USA government, Israel would be in a world of doo doo. Now, Palestine needs the same help that Israel received to get her on her feet.
One side has the bigger rocks, we all know this. When the big rocks get thrown, the other side only has the smaller rocks and feels its defending themselves with the small rocks and other affordable makeshift protection. So, my advice to both governments....Instead of throwing rocks, go throw a big party (maybe even a big rock and roll party) and forget the rock throwing and move toward peace and fairness. I know people on both sides that passionately and faithfully want peace. And ya know, Thats no secret! Ok..please excuse this RANT, but this is making me a bit mad(er). Swiss Chris is John Legends Music Director and Drummer and founder of SWISS, Saving With Instruments Samples and Soundz that helps people all over the world, recently doing a benefit for Aung San Suu Kyi, leader of the nonviolent movement for human rights and democracy in Burma (Myanmar), and Nobel laureate who has been jailed most of the last 10 years for speaking out about freedom.
Swiss recently signed with CPR Recording as a producer, writer and artist and will be working on the revival of the Last Poets. The Last Poets is a group of poets and musicians who arose from the late 1960s African American civil rights movement's black nationalist thread. Their name is taken from a poem by the South African revolutionary poet Keorapetse Kgositsile, who believed he was in the last era of poetry before guns would take over.
The Last Poets have been cited as one of the earliest influences on what would become hip-hop music; critic Jason Ankeny writes, "With their politically charged raps, taut rhythms, and dedication to raising African-American consciousness, the Last Poets almost single-handedly laid the groundwork for the emergence of hip-hop.
