Life with My Sister Madonna Elaborate PR Ploy?
The book came out on Monday. Has it already fizzled before the weekend? What's up with Christopher Ciccone's "tell-all" Life with My Sister, Madonna ? It sits at #17 on the Amazon chart (5 spots BELOW Jessica Seinfeld's, Deceptively Delicious). I know the book was pretty boring, of which the highlights were things most of us already knew. Anyone who has seen E! True Hollywood Story would know these things.
So now it makes me wonder (I am a conspiracy theorist at heart) was this all just an elaborate, carefully orchestrated PR ploy to give Madonna more coverage? Nothing in the book was shocking or hurtful, really. So what she gave him his first ecstasy tablet. Big whoop. He and Guy Ritchie don't like each other. Who cares?. The bottom line is Christopher still manages to make a million bucks on the book, Madonna continues to be a topic of conversation. She comes out of it virtually unscathed, and maybe even scores sympathy votes as the betrayed sibling. What do you think? While we are at it, I think A- Rod was a willing actor in this PR extravaganza too. I wonder if there was a bounce in sales for Hard Candy this week? Hmmmmm... The book came out on Monday. Madonna and Britney together again
Madonna has recruited Britney Spears for a virtual appearance on her upcoming tour.
"There is footage being shot of Britney some time this week in conjunction with Madonna's upcoming (Sticky & Sweet) tour," Madonna's publicist, Liz Rosenberg, said in an e-mail Tuesday to The Associated Press.
"That is all the information I have available. The rest is 'a secret.' "
Rosenberg denied reports that Spears, 26, is shooting a music video. Madonna guest starred in a music video for Spears' single "Me Against the Music" in 2003. The singers stirred up controversy that year with an open-mouth kiss at the MTV Video Music Awards.
Madonna, 49, will kick off her tour August 23 in Cardiff, Wales, and wind through European destinations including London and Paris before jumping to the U.S. in October. Madonna has recruited Britney Spears for a virtual appearance on her upcoming tour. ... more -

No one does crazy better than Courtney Love. We saw her strapped to a stretcher well before Brittany (copy cat) and who could forget the notorious compact throwing incident at MTV's Music Awards in 1995 when she decided to stand in the middle of Madonna's spot light. We LOVED it.
Sadly, you don't see much of Court in the pages of US Weekly but we want to assure you she is just as batty as ever.
